Poots is a Politician...he's got votes and his job to consider...The Gas Cavern opponents are well organised and a formidable force to contend with.....but it's the needs of the majority of NI against the minority of the NIMBI's that will prevail.

(NO GAS CAVERNS LTD is active....and working hard on behalf of the NIMBI's)

Probably when Poots recovers from his recent upsets.

Still hard for me to understand how Poots is letting both H&W and the Island Magee gas project go down the tubes?

Terminator101 was right except in one respect. He thought 19p could be something of a floor. Personally, I think the equity value is approaching 0 unless a radical strategic hand break turn is execute PDQ

John loves a free meal and shareholders have surely fed him long enough? What happened to the salt caverns or are they full of more hot air than the man himself!!

Total disaster, once you factor in the equity raisings this is clearest an all time low. In fact the company is not worth much more than what they've recently raised. It's now just a lottery ticket / call option on some miraculous good news. The management strategy has been a terrible failure, executed without integrity. Shareholders would be best served now by auctioning off all the existing assets including the gas storage to the highest bidders, winding down the rest of the 'business', and returning the proceeds to shareholders as soon as possible and before more money is eaten up by management or loss making enterprises. That's the best way and probably only route left now to a decent share price rally. Otherwise prepare for slow, or maybe not so slow deatg.

All things being equal, the share price should find some support at this level :-)

'A side show that has the potential to eat up all the equity in the firm'

Shipping side is just 'treading water'... waiting for the main event.

bron...I came in before H@W came on the scene...(ps..been in and out a couple of times.)

Yes potentially it could. But you have to believe John Wood is going to be the first modern day CEO to make a sustainable business out U.K. shipbuilding. It's going to require some massively subsidised govt contracts imo. Possible, but the clock is ticking. And even then I worry the shareholders would get buried under more capital raising, executive compensation, heavy investment requirements, low margins and execution risk. Energy storage should have stayed the focus.

And equally so, especially from this price, potential to make investors a lot of money.
