06/2/2023 23:09 | 3 years???? | neo26
06/2/2023 21:43 | Have to Say Nobbygnome pointed at several unknowns and facts regarding IMM on the trail , for myself well down on but 50% but was speculative and always will be. In the end 1 year to 3 years if approved looking at 1000% gain , will that happen maybe or not. Then other stocks invested have gained ten fold which on balance is as a whole positive in investing in stocks. High Risk - high rewards - High Risk - Loss of investment nearly This is not a day traders investment | thordon
06/2/2023 17:23 | Good point. Avion were sold a turkey although of course they didn’t pay anything up front for that reason. Nevertheless they must already have spent quite a lot on consultants and the bill for the trial just went up substantially from what they expected! | nobbygnome
06/2/2023 17:16 | unless they also require them to now put up some cash as really all they have is phase 1 data and limited phase 2 data. Hardly phase 3 ready. | waterloo01
06/2/2023 17:11 | Well sort of. At least the trial looks like it will go ahead….but there won’t be any significant results for 3 years plus. Meanwhile McCarthy et al will continue to trouser their salaries whilst not a lot happens. Lots of talk about other indications and other projects but nothing ever comes to fruition….at least so far | nobbygnome
06/2/2023 16:12 | Isnt this good news for imm? | neo26
06/2/2023 12:00 | It all depends on the site of action wrt what concentration is required. This was always one of the most troubling factors to me because Muller changer her theory about where the drug worked. The publications talked about lymphoid organs such as spleen whereas in a personal communication she changed that to the injection site. For me the latter is just not credible but could explain why they went with the low dose, the point being that is the only place where the drug concentration could possibly be high enough to have any chance of working! The problem is then you are trying to say the drug will have a systemic effect when it’s only available to a few cells at the injection site, which is helluva stretch for me… | nobbygnome
06/2/2023 11:57 | Thanks. It's certainly an interesting story... | supernumerary
06/2/2023 11:55 | Yep, from memory you need roughly 50 fold more drug to equal the drug concentration required in mice and for in vitro human cell experiments. | nobbygnome
06/2/2023 11:51 | But surely that's still a long way short of the mouse dose? | supernumerary
06/2/2023 11:36 | I have looked back and indeed 1000 ug monthly is the highest dose. However they have also done 200 every 2 weeks which I had forgotten. I would love to be able to see all the data and discover why on earth they went with 200 monthly….. | nobbygnome
06/2/2023 11:31 | Well that is 1000ug (1mg) in one monthly dose from memory. Personally I think more frequent dosing is required as well as a higher amount in each dose | nobbygnome
06/2/2023 11:08 | Nobby - it looks as though it will be the highest dose they've already tested for safety, so one ought to be able to look it up. I doubt whether it comes anywhere near the sort of doses you reckon the mice have had! | supernumerary
06/2/2023 07:23 | And just to say assuming everything goes to plan it will most likely be mid 2027 before they know the result. Of course now it does stand a chance of working because the problem always was the dose…. | nobbygnome
06/2/2023 07:20 | I wonder how high the dose level will go and how frequent the dosing will be. Just think about all the time and money they could have saved if they had employed me as a consultant way back when. It was so bleedin’ obvious they needed a higher dose! Ho hum…… | nobbygnome
26/1/2023 10:30 | maybe someone at IMM knows more that the rest of us. Certainly there's been plenty of buyers in the last 2 months Let's see.... | johneee
