Even at 1.82 I'm pretty pleased, any extras are clotted cream and jam on top. At one point I was down about £19k on this punt.

Just for fun I had a peek at the "Technical Insights" on TD this morning. The short term ones all show as "Bearish" over the last couple of weeks when the price was 130 - 140ish. It just shows that charting can only get you so far and how wrong it can be when nice smooth predictable trends get broken! :-)

won't be selling below 1.80 as at some time 9.2% held of company by shorters will need to be bought back.

Wonder if any shorters fancy a punt from here in case the sale doesn't happen ? Without a counterbid they can only get 10p or so worse after all.

yes 173 would be good, people selling rather than waiting till later. shorters will need to close but MM will not take big buys, so they are locked in.

No - there's a reason the price has gone up and it has been RNS'ed so no need for a suspension.

That's right Pottsey or you can sell any time. Your nominee holder will probably have a documents section you'll need to keep an eye on so you can do what's needed on the corporate action front (voting for/against).

Having never owned shares in a company thats been sold I am wondering about the process. Am I right in thinking if you have shares on one of the big sites like TD then apart from the vote you don’t need to anything? The process will just go automatically and the shares automatically get exchanged at the last moment?

Going to take a little while. I'd imagine there are organisations wanting to buy 20m shares PDQ and not many willing to sell to them 😂😂

I might stick mine on a limit sell order at 225p and see if anyone bites.
