They also have never learned that saying things like "we will soon be revealing major advances in AI technology' that the 'soon' ought to at least mean sometime in the foreseeable future?

On clicking Pottsey's link on my phone and later on my laptop I was taken to a site that showed a small, largely unscalable image in the centre of the page surrounded by adverts for Russian prostitutes. Whatever their other failings at KL, whoever at IMG inadvertently posted this has certainly done a hell of a job in hiding any trace of it ever being live.

22 February 2016 PowerVR Series8XE announced.

If 19 months latter PowerVR Series9XE is announced, it is no surprise timing wise.

If a new third strand of PowerVR as Series9XM turns out to be orientated specifically towards machine learning, neural networks and GPU compute then about time too.

PowerVR Series8XT had a delayed release of 8 March 2017, quite likely related to the lack of Apple take up. Compare with Series7XT released 10 November 2014. A shorter cycle to Series9XT, the second Furian iteration is understandable but that is not what is alluded to in the pre-release.

The link did exist and if you spent less time sprouting rubbish like “Oh dear. Did your mum read your browser history ?“ and more time reading what I put and reading the official IMG twitter page you would know I was right. It wasn’t just a twitter feed there was a full blog to go along with it. I wasn’t fast enough to capture that one before it went down. You had a full hour to read the twitter page before it went down but instead choose to attack me.

Do you have any idea how crazy your posts read to the rest of us? Get an outsider you trust to read from post 28541 onwards and get them to look at the links to get their opinion. You need a big reality check.

As a number of people have confirmed and my 2nd screenshot shows that is a lie and not what the rest of us see. Perhaps if you spent less time on those sites your browser wouldn’t be infected. The rest of us don’t see ladies in pants. I was trying to post real news and all you have done is act crazy. I am sure I am not the only one who cannot make sense of half of your recent rants. Like the Mamma Mia stuff?

The 2nd screenshot link proves me right and a number of posters have confirmed this was really tweeted but I don’t expect you to admit anything. As I said before I will upload the screenshot to any chosen free photo upload site you like. The blog I didn't capture fast enough, but the 3 twitter feeds I did capture. I freely admit at times I have made mistakes and misunderstand things but I have never once told a lie or made up fake news. This was real, it could well have been a big mistake by someone at IMG but it was real.

Last time I did that I was shouted at for spamming text and told to use links.

I did copy and paste the twitter text in my first post. While the blog went down fast the news was live on IMG twitter channel for an entire hour after my first post. If you bothered to go on the IMG twitter feed when I said you could have seen it yourself live on IMG run site. I only came across the news today; it’s hard to post news yesterday when I only read it around 4pm today.

As for why IMG did it. Well they did say they are speeding up the cycle rate and that series 8 would be shorter then 7. Add that with clearly someone posted something early that was not meant to go out yet.

And if they were real and linkable why wouldn't Pottsey have posted the pictures YESTERDAY when they were 'live' rather than today when the screenshots are just text surrounded by pics of ladies in their scanties ?

On the up side - if I'm wrong then IMG have just obsoleted their brand new - 1 advertised core Series 8 Furian - architecture with a whole new Series 9 (yes, NINE) GPU architecture before any Series 8 cores have been seen.

That's logical right ?
