The fact that the share price was close to the all time low on Friday and had fallen 15% in 10 days despite well publicised bid talks shows just how little interest exists currently for small cap stocks. Incredible really

IMG looking for Apple dispute full and final settlement within 60 days for 50% after costs to be given as dividend payment as part of acquisition offer.
75% of shareholders required to approve.
MIPS sale fails to cover cost of original purchase never mind subsequent investment by IMG.
Vote NO to MIPS sale and NO to acquisition offer.





Further to the announcement today of the terms of a recommended cash offer for the Imagination Group and the disposal of MIPS referred to above, the formal sale process under the Takeover Code in respect of the Imagination Group and the sale processes for MIPS and Ensigma businesses have now been concluded. One party has not confirmed whether its interest in the Imagination Group has terminated and accordingly it remains a potential offeror for Imagination for the purposes of the Takeover Code.

Accordingly for so long as this party remains a potential offeror, the Company is required to seek shareholder approval for the sale of MIPS at a General Meeting for the purposes of Rule 21.1 of the Takeover Code. A circular is expected to be posted to Imagination shareholders shortly.

Just to be clear, is that mean the sale is all done and dusted and sold at 1.82, or is it merely an offer and any other parties can still counter offer and a possible bidding war starts? It sounds like the former to me with how it's worded, which is a shame if no counter offers are coming to push the price up further.

All done and dusted by the look of the story. The share price today suggests there was no leak.
Shame I averaged about 360p buying price. Should have ignored all those rampers who shouted me down when I pointed out the absent dividend for yrs....

JR - Level 2 Frequency: Ticks IMG 04:29 PM Trade volume 1642 Open+Low 131.50 Close+High 134.25. Single trade hoovered up the price ladder at the end of market hours, tidy up session brought it back down again to 130.9869. Nothing dramatic.

IMG Neural Network Accelerator (NNA) task based performance comparison to premium GPU ... 30x speed using 0.56% of the energy ...

As examples, the firm is suggesting that 1,000 photos can be searched or sorted in two seconds on a 16nm process 2NX, compared with 60s taken by a “premium GPU” on a similar process, while 428,000 photos could be sorted for 1% of the charge on a certain battery, compared with 2,400 if the aforementioned GPU had 1% of energy to play with.



Sheep Herder how do you reckon this performance compares to other neural engines?
Anyone for rapid fire Tinder, with Russians included?

Regarding the latest 2.9 RNS IMG appears to be creating on average nearly 10,000 new shares per day. I assume it is related to a share scheme or something similar....

Didn't IMG mention when launching Furian that the small power efficient designs would continue to be Rogue and the high performance ones Furian?? Or am I imagining it?

Series 9XE and 9XM are still Rogue ! I thought all would be Furian from now on.

Probably why there's no mention of targeting high end smartphones or tablets. Although without Apple as a customer there's really no other high end smartphone or tablet maker to target. I'm guessing that 9XT will be Furian based if it is in the pipeline.

Maybe Google will buy us ?

Thank you hammered2. I do believe you and I have no clue on what is going on. At no point what so ever did I ever see Russian prostitutes. Even now all I see is the powervr link without any adverts.

Perhaps the hosting site is changing the link depending on whos viewing it based on IP location?

EDIT: If it happens again please just tell me in a friendly manner there is something wrong with the link.
