Db,
I was hoping you were going to be able to answer my question.
Anyone else got an inkling of any IP that Ilika might gain protection from?
I can't see it.

HB I am hoping that somewhere in the middle are patents for ultra low battery degradation that third parties might want to licence?

Davidblack, What IP do IKA have?

Absolutely correct. No one in the know doubts IKA was listed too soon. But it is what it is.
Agree entirely, IKA’s time has arrived. With hindsight, it should be having its IPO about now, and with a much higher valuation.
I think those stale early shareholders are out now, however. IP Group, etc. are all gone.

Possibly a daft question.

Is IKA a potential £1bn market cap IP play?

Or something much smaller?

I can’t work it out.

Looking at the last half decade this looks to be a great technology play that was put on Aim too early.

As a private Company would have benefited from bot being listed until about now.

It’s possibly self serving but the commercial journey looks ripe to start over the next 24-48 months?

No point trading in and out of this unless desperate for the cash.. spread prohibitive for that here.

Well in the context of the last raise that’s not a big issue.

This is painful. £4m per fab set-up. 50% gross margin. Info’s out there & recently

Not sure IKA wants to share those costs as it’s likely the Fab Company would want a slice of any recurring revenue.

As to the cost, I wouldn’t even want to guess. That’s an email to the Ceo I reckon.

David how much do think the new high prototype rig will cost Ilika?
We were'nt shown the existing rig at the open day but I've seen pics of it.££*£££££££££££...
I would have been impressed if a fab company had committed to a joint cost risk share project showing faith in the tech and product...but don't share your enthusiasm sorry...the fab company says no!
