Good summary presentation by Graham and Steve. Nothing new, but brings it together and emphasises the prospects. Questions were interesting: on orders, Graham clarified the pipeline on the slide he used. Don't need physical due diligence, so they are still up and running talking to customers during the pandemic - he specifically mentioned an Italian auto manufacturer and a Chinese opertation in the last few weeks.

Hi, swiss paul:

Yes, it's a binary bet, and judging by the science, I'm betting multibagger, for my sins. And there's a gap in the past few days to fill on the chart, which it will do whatever, so maybe a good short term buy now, anyway.

problm is Andy is that they had a stable of 'products' that they shelved (got rid) to focus on this one. That is why its a binary bet. will either go strato - or tank ot zero.
Its mainly run by research boffs - who love to ..... research. Same issue in IQE and other alike organisations.

good luck and Keep Calm & Carry on!

I'm interested financially, as a shareholder, and also technically: what they are doing should, if the company does it properly and well, produce product that will sell in great quantity, and be very successful. All small tech businesses are a risk, by their very nature, and with Ilika, I am taking the risk, as my belief is that when things settle down, the share price will grow greatly and it will be a multibagger.

still a binary bet - so am not adding. That may result in the rapid depletion of the finances, which may also focus the BOD's on getting a product to market.

Its not a never ending well they can continue to dip inot and at some stage the research either has to stack up (pardon the pun) or be put away.

Yes, voting for the placement and ignoring the open offer looks like the thing to do.

deadline for accepting the offer today and the choice, apart from the price discrepancy, is between providing funds to the company and buying more shares on the open market for your own investment benefit. Hard to see that his part of the fund raise will be successful with a 25% difference, a smaller gap maybe. Been a long term holder and still have faith they will deliver longer term but a decimated portfolio in the last couple of weeks also means no funds are available...

good luck and good health all...

Glad I didn't take part in the open offer @ 40p. Still like the company though. Hope we are working with Samsung.

Samsung gets round the 'dendrites' problem in solid state Li-ion batteries by using a silver/carbon layer as anode...

Are we working with Samsung?

What are the wafers they refer to. Batteries? If so, expensive given their expected revenue from them. .?
