28/9/2022 12:39 | The BBC and CNN - best avoided. If they're saying it's Russia, take it with a pinch of salt. There ain't no good guys in all this - the US very much included. | felchandbart
28/9/2022 12:12 | You are wrong, the BBC and CNN says its russia's fault like everything in society. | svenice7
28/9/2022 10:16 | Any community support initiatives will be paid out of cash flow once production is up and running, I would have thought. On the other hand, do the companies have to pay for the policing of their sites? This is going to attract massive protests, at least initially. | mattybuoy
28/9/2022 10:11 | Don't forget the bribes to the locals! | buffinman
28/9/2022 09:59 | How many wells will that pay for I wonder? Got to be at least 3 or 4. | mattybuoy
28/9/2022 09:46 | varies: AJ Lucas Group raises $20m as UK lifts hydraulic fracturing ban hxxps://www.afr.com/ | buffinman
28/9/2022 08:59 | There is an announcement pending from A J Lucas, the owner of Cuadrilla, and trading in AJL shares has just been suspended on the ASX. Such suspensions are often followed by the raising of capital but it is possible that on this occasion the suspension may concern imminent news about fracking. I have taken my profit on AJL as I find their balance sheet too unnerving but this may prove a mistake. In IGAS some good news is certainly required soon. | varies
28/9/2022 06:50 | So let's say the US did take out Nord Stream 1 - the story isn't over yet. The next chapter in the energy bull market is about to open. Now the ball is in Russia's court. What is going to happen next? There is not going to be a quiet Putin.... | powereddrones
27/9/2022 22:46 | Forbes U.S. Blew Up Russian Gas Pipelines Nord Stream 1 & 2, Says Former Polish Defense Minister The sabotage of Nord Stream 1 and 2 came the day before Poland and Norway opened a new, 850-kilometer natural gas pipeline, Baltic Pipe, through Denmark. European leaders praised the pipeline as a much-needed alternative to Nord Stream 1 and 2. Norway Energy Minister Terje Aasland called Baltic Pipe “a milestone on the important path towards European independence”. --- Plot twist.... did a big institution (not naming any names) knew this was happening this week, and loaded up on IGAS shares. Stranger things have happened?! | powereddrones
27/9/2022 22:25 | But it’s not out of the realm of the possible that the U.S. is indeed behind the attack. President Joe Biden promised on February 7 to prevent Nord Stream 2 from becoming operational if Russia invaded Ukraine. "If Russia invades,” said Biden, “then there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it." Reporter: "But how will you do that, exactly, since...the project is in Germany's control?" Biden: "I promise you, we will be able to do that." 27/9/2022 21:26 | Keep an eye on hxxps://tradingecono There could be a break of this down trend here. As the temps drop this week - people are getting colds now. Sore throat, coughs, sniffles. They then move to turn on the gas boilers. "Come Friendly Energy Bills" ~A friendly tip from PoweredDrones - fill up you car when it gets down to 1/2 full. Thank me later! | powereddrones
27/9/2022 17:54 | Its obvious to see , the tories have the political will to do next to nothing on energy supply. Its all talk apart from tax breaks to the rich. | svenice7
27/9/2022 13:10 | Jeezus….. 40p now | gripfit
27/9/2022 13:03 | Like a lot of oil and gas plays the problem is cash and getting projects up and running at a profit. Drilling and infrastructure and time are the enemy and small plays suffer from lack of cash and resources and end up selling fields or farming out for a pittance . Never mind political risks and licenses . Obviously the fraccing news was good news for igas but there's still a lot of risk and expense involved ahead plus the actual results of drilling and testing . Think there was a spike due to hype but reality setting in when people realise this is a very long and bumpy road ahead . They should have raised funds while they had the chance too although need a sustained period of higher prices to raise cash and keep dilution at a minimum. Expect to see mid 40s again until news on production and drill results start to appear . Problem for me is a lack of cash to drill and expand quickly and by the time they achieve this the oil and gas price landscape could have changed rapidly to the downside | bones698
27/9/2022 12:29 | If just talking charts and head and shoulders patterns there's a small gap closing around 45p may come into play. | bad gateway
27/9/2022 12:29 | Benchmark European gas prices rise as much as 12% on Tuesday Nord Stream Sees Unprecedented Damage to Gas Pipeline to Germany WATCH: Nord Stream reported “unprecedented Bloomberg News September 27, 2022 at 7:55 AM GMT+1Updated onSeptember 27, 2022 at 12:06 PM GMT+1 Share this article Germany suspects the damage to the Nord Stream pipeline system used to transport Russian gas to Europe was the result of sabotage. The evidence points to a violent act, rather than a technical issue, according to a German security official, who asked not to be identified because the matter is being probed. In response to the pipeline leaks in the Baltic Sea, Denmark is tightening security around energy assets. | moonshine3
27/9/2022 12:15 | Been alot of froth in the price, 37 would be good for a punt. | brut winky
27/9/2022 12:13 | I have never understood charts but I have seldom seen a clearer Head & Shoulders pattern than that now apparent. Does this mean that the share price is likely to complete the pattern by falling to its recent base of about 40p ? I doubt if it will but at that price the market cap would look attractive even without the prospect of fracking. Having proved lucky with my timing here (rare for me), I am tempted to dip my toes in again soon. | varies
27/9/2022 11:47 | There is absolutely a need for gas but we need a period of stable political backing to get shale production ramped up. Politics is not looking very stable at the moment. | mattybuoy
27/9/2022 11:17 | Fib retrace. | the truth hurts a lot
27/9/2022 11:16 | so there's no need for gas then? | the truth hurts a lot
27/9/2022 11:12 | The government might not last long enough to get things going. Also there is general "sell the UK" pressure. | mattybuoy
27/9/2022 11:11 | Why is this one still going down. Surely the government’s decision to allow fracking is a positive for this company. | squintyflinty1 |
