17/10/2022 17:28 | No fan of the BBC, but no fan of funding Russia, unlike yourself. | svenice7
17/10/2022 17:25 | Let's hope you don't take the BBC as ones profound knowledge Svenice otherwise that would be disconcerting! ...But can Truss be Truss'ted or for that matter this incredibly incompetent UK government! | one_frankel
17/10/2022 15:59 | 60p next week | svenice7
17/10/2022 15:42 | One pootin Frankel | svenice7
17/10/2022 14:52 | This has now got a labour government priced in for next 5 years! | officerdigby
17/10/2022 13:37 | I doubt the diehard foreign policies of the Western Allied gimps are anything different Svenice7...And Russia is an incredibly self-sufficient country albeit with those basic necessities that we require for our daily lives! ...And there was no real reason for the West to provoke a war in the first instance as Russia was only trying to protect the sovereignty of its old USSR and the black sea is of huge strategic importance but if Russia invaded Mexico, would you expect the US to just stand on its laurels! ...But the only reason I can really see was for a short-term market catalyst as wars are huge business for turning the cogs to the world economy and nothing else was going to sustain the longest bull market in history except its not quite going as they envisaged! | one_frankel
17/10/2022 13:10 | One_Frankel - the guy who sponsors wars all over the world. prefers to kill people all over the world than be self sufficient. He has blood on his hands. | svenice7
17/10/2022 12:55 | I tend not follow the 'Herds' Kipper62 hence the 'One' in the alias but is that something you're still trying to learn without holding the excess baggage? | one_frankel
17/10/2022 12:51 | Nice one I'll have a pair of kippers any day. | guy_fawkes
17/10/2022 12:47 | One Frankel. If it wasn't a viable option, why did you invest? You didn't? Then what are you doing here, on one of 3000 equities? Is the clue to your presence hidden in the fact that FAKE LONER can be extracted from your handle? | kipper62
17/10/2022 12:35 | Fracking was never really a viable option to begin with, governments are doing enough damage to the economy let alone the environment too! | one_frankel
17/10/2022 11:56 | 20p now this | gripfit
17/10/2022 11:55 | Previous comments on his tory website have been pro fracking. However he was a NIMBY in his own constituency for new developments.Big hypocrite. | svenice7
17/10/2022 11:53 | Clearly the short-term politic headwinds are negative. However I don't think the shale story is over. It really all depends on what happens over the winter. Watch to see if Odey and the other big boys sell out. | mattybuoy
17/10/2022 11:45 | Has he said he will ? All total speculation | kirk 6
17/10/2022 11:32 | Hunt is a money man, he could easily swing on fracking if he is gonna make a buck. | svenice7
17/10/2022 11:13 | Well could go to 20p - might pick some up there | powereddrones

17/10/2022 11:01 | If Truss goes then so does any strength in the IGAS share price. | oakville
17/10/2022 00:22 | The good news is that Jeremy Hunt also supports fracking...... From his website ... Shale development has the potential to deliver substantial economic benefits to the UK economy and for local communities where supplies are located. The Government remains committed to protecting the environment and ensuring that shale exploration happens safely. Planning decisions on shale exploration applications remain disappointingly slow, which is why the announcement of a range of measures to help speed up these decisions is welcome. A consultation was carried out last year to consider whether the early stages of shale exploration should be treated as permitted development, and in particular the circumstances where this might be appropriate. This would allow early exploratory work to proceed without requiring planning applications, although planning applications would still be required for fracking. I should note that permitted development rights would still require consent from the Environment Agency, the Health and Safety Executive and the Oil and Gas Authority, and only cover planning aspects of development and do not remove requirements for permitting, environmental licensing or environmental legislation. Other measures include strengthening community engagement by consulting on the potential to make pre-application consultations a statutory requirement, and launching a new £1.6 million shale support fund over the next two years to build capacity in local authorities dealing with shale applications. A new Planning Brokerage Service for shale applications will also be created, to provide guidance to developers and local authorities on the planning process in order to speed up decision making. Furthermore, to simplify the complex UK regulatory regime for shale gas, a new Shale Environmental Regulator will also be set up, to act as a single coherent face for the public, mineral planning authorities, and industry. These measures should help speed up decision making on shale applications, whilst protecting our environment and ensuring that the voices of local communities are heard. Rishi Sunak, although supporting it in his leadership campaign had voted for restrictions in 2015. There's still hurdles to climb against the nut-nuts, not just the useful idiot types (Tarquins and Phoebes of J-S-O and Extinction Rebellion) but also the EA, WEF, IMF, UN and all other bodies that have swung us so far towards globalism, environmental panic and the left wing agenda in the west. It just needs some resilience to hold back that storm, the mood music is starting to change. | hairballradical
14/10/2022 20:01 | Kwarteng worked for Odey one time - OK so it doesn't look too good now. But the other two investing banks feel like Fracking will happen at some point. What happens in the US will happen in the UK eventually --- see McDonalds, Star Bucks etc... I am not in the finance profession, but did BOA sell shares and maintain the same position size as CFDs? I guess CFDs do not affect the market price, I guess it's like spreadbets, unless the spread bet company wishes to hedge their position and actually go into the market and buy shares. Why would BOA do this? If the above was true, it could be to free up capital to use else where, but still maintain the position. OR it could be to knock the price down a bit more (while still maintaining the position) to get weak hands to release stock. Can anyone shed any light on this please? | powereddrones |
