15/9/2022 15:15 | Just bought 5+k showing as a sell. 84.69p | tutthetrader
15/9/2022 12:16 | One of the largest items on the balance sheet is the provision for restoring well sites after resources are exhausted. IGAS operates a large number of small oil wells whose production diminishes year after year. The average rate of diminution seems to be about 5% p.a. and so this provision should last many years. Leaving this provision aside, the balance sheet looks healthy to me. If the share price recedes into the 70s, I shall be very tempted to buy my shares back. | varies

15/9/2022 07:48 | The Board believes that the Company is entering into a new phase where the technical aspects of managing its assets, and the scope to redirect its portfolio to assist in providing greater energy security in the UK, including its geothermal business, are rapidly becoming more pressing. The recent high oil prices now afford the Company an opportunity to put new emphasis on these matters. Mr Hopkinson's technical background and extensive experience in onshore gas operations, with difficult-to-recover reserves and mature assets will be of great assistance in increasing the Company's momentum in these areas. | sos100
13/9/2022 16:13 | No More Russian Gas!! Will Europe FREEZE This Winter?! | powereddrones
12/9/2022 08:57 | Come, friendly energy bills, fall on us now! This coming cold winter will freeze us humans, but how? There isn't the gas to heat us, temps will be low, Swarm over...........cold snow! | powereddrones
11/9/2022 18:10 | Of course it has. They've also begun to realise in what other areas they've been brainwashed over the last three years | fardels bear
11/9/2022 17:17 | ^The comments make for interesting reading... has the public attitude to paying £2-4K for energy bills finally changed their minds to Good Green Gas Cycling? | powereddrones
11/9/2022 10:01 | Thanks to DAFAD on the UJO board for this link about fracking Igas is mentioned: "British energy explorer IGas said in March it could heat homes with shale gas by the end of the year if the fracking ban was lifted. It said it could prepare a planning application within weeks to extract shale gas in Nottinghamshire, which could be used to heat up to 125,000 homes. IGas had been developing a shale site in the village of Misson before the 2019 moratorium." | buffinman
10/9/2022 14:39 | Brilliant analysis video, all should watch. | bowie
10/9/2022 13:59 | Ours is the Bosch Worcester - there is some sort of filter mug, that the Gas Engineer opens and all the muck comes out. I think this is one way to keep the boiler running well. | powereddrones
10/9/2022 13:54 | I had our boiler serviced a few days ago expecting some kind of tune up but the BG engineer just checked the emissions which were ok - the same as when serviced over the last 10 years! Nothing done to improve efficiency but then it is one of the best two makes and 'only' 10 years old. Our previous boiler lasted 22 years with minimal servicing and no trouble at all until the end, but no doubt far more inefficient due to it's year of manufacture. | bountyhunter
10/9/2022 10:40 | This might change people's minds... | bountyhunter
10/9/2022 10:02 | No fracking in Scotland zzzz No fracking in Wales zzzz hxxps://nation.cymru No fracking in Manchester hxxps://www.msn.com/ I know this is a bit revolutionary for this thread, but there's actually a mention of Igas: "... Planning measures were put in place to create a 'presumption' against fracking as part of the region's effort to become carbon neutral by 2038. It was hailed as a critical moment in the fight against the practice. Five years earlier energy company IGas had been granted permission to build a fracking test well at Barton Moss, between Barton Aerodrome and the M62 motorway in Salford. The plans sparked a huge backlash with campaigners camping outside the site for six months. Protests included 'slow walking' in front of vehicles accessing the site, non-violent direct action, and rallies, music events and family days.... " | buffinman
09/9/2022 21:50 | VariesNo problem - I couldn't stomach that sort of vitriol.I think we will see Ineos drive the golden opportunity of being self sufficient in gas forward and our nation surely needs to take advantage of what we have under our own feet.I think the geology on the eastern side of the country lends itself to extracting Gas perhaps better than the west (an opinion not based on great knowledge!) Not that registering 0.5 on the scale was a problem on the western side but there we are. I'm looking forward to see how this plays out over the coming months. I had a very small number of shares for several years but bought more in September last year and more again in January. I also bought into Egdon at 1.5p in 2021 on a hunch that we would soon desperately need to extract gas and oil on our own soil. Plenty of hurdles to overcome I'm sure but they can be overcome with strength of conviction. | mountain man
09/9/2022 20:21 | Sounds a good idea ... rename it ! | amaretto1
09/9/2022 20:11 | Maybe, we'll have to see. KC is fully behind the WEF agenda, but they still need the people to be on board - a permanently broken economy is not part of the plan. A lot more greenfield might be protected when/if fracking starts. I'm not an expert on the subject however. I am aware that marketing takes over engineering. All they have to do is to do something a little different and then rename fracking to a more acceptable term, like "Good Green Gas Cycling" [GGGC] and people will buy into it. I still have my exposure from the lows, not a ton of money in there, but can't think of that many small players to hedge against the high energy bills. | powereddrones |
