in just NINE months they sold this amount of stuff:

The Group has continued to deliver good revenue growth in the nine-month period to 31 December 2021 with revenue at $828 million, up 12% like-for-like on the prior year.

This is now (probably) a BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY

nobilis: seems unlikely as they made a point that sales INCREASED not decreased.

Perspective - its falling because loads of people sold. It does not make those people right.

Take for example HostelWorld - its rising.
Has turnover over of £13m makes £44m loss. Has markt cap of 93m

We have nearly a billion-pound turnover!!!!
we dont make a loss, and yonks of cash (£40m)
And have a market cap almost the same as HostelWorld.

So what can RELATIVELY EASILY be done?

RAISE PRICES LOADS, LOSE 25% of TURNOVER. - JOB DONE. We can afford to lose 25% of turnover to increase profits....

Why?

Because our stock does not go out of date - dont sell crackers one year - just sell them the next.

It will rebound very strongly from here or be bought out.

In hindsight it all makes sense now. Fine man selling all his shares. When the CEO sells all his shares and months later the stock takes a nose dive, isn’t that called insider trading?

s34icknote: I've had an amazing year so far (even allowing this blip) - I'm into BT and Banks in a big way - done me proud (as did M&S on run up to Christmas)..

Last minute this has got a strong buy signal.

Sainsburys is starting to have a bit of a run too now.

netcurtains, I think it could be the top of the bottom, maybe middle bottom but bottom bottom is not a nice place to be.

Do you think this might be the bottom of the bottom or has the bottom still got a bit of a way to go?

Well we know management are cash rich, after selling their shares at multiples of the current price. The least they could do is buy a few down here (if not the whole company!)

It means the factory producing the goods was likely producing at a lower capacity, containers with stock was stuck in port or on a ship waiting to load/unload, on top of exorbitant container costs. Then they practically had to bribe courier companies to get the stock to the retailer in time for Xmas. I’m told many factories in the Beijing area of China are currently closed, partly a result of Omicron and also to reduce energy usage connected to coal in order to ensure cleaner air for the Beijing Olympics.

What the fuq is this drivel....

"....the Group experienced further supply chain delays and headwinds which resulted in a significant volume of seasonal orders being processed and shipped in a shorter time window than previously envisaged, thereby incurring fulfilment related cost premiums."

Board needs to learn how to speak to its investors.

It's seasonal debt, they borrow heavily prior to Xmas but will be cash positive by March year end to the sum of 40 million.

Revenue close to $1 Billion.

Hedlund family will take this back private as Serge as has done with Photo-Me last week. Stunning collapse from 600p (where shameful CEO sold his stake) in just 6 months. RSI just 10 now

58% drop on a significantly below expectations update is extreme, I suspect this bounces back to 140-150 this week, which is the midpoint between the current low & the open price. It’s illiquid so should recover well on low volume once it’s clear the bottom is in
