Hi Rivaldo, thanks, I did just check and it was indeed 2.5p but for some reason in my little book that I keep a check on things I'd pencilled in 2.25p.

Brilliant results all around. Cheers

Hi t2r - the interim divi was definitely 2.5p, so 8.5p in total.

Rivaldo, did we not get 2.25p interim dividend? I'll have to check but I think they've made an error there, total for year =8.25p but I maybe wrong.
Cracking set of figures though with much more to come in following years...

Correction interim divi was 2.5p.

Terrific results - 29.3p EPS is well ahead of forecasts of 27p from Progressive Equity, as is the 8.5p dividend.

Year end net cash of £17.1m is way ahead of the forecast £9.9m.

And all this despite major restructuring, large acquisition integration etc.

The outlook is as positive as ever.

IGR always delivers.

The company has already stated that revenue is a massive 37% ahead of last year. It has also said that overall net margins are better than last year. As a result I fail to see how EPS can be anything other than ahead of market expectations because revenue is way ahead of market expectations (£447m v £417m).

Nice coverage of Octopus' increase in their stake in IGR:

"IG Design (IGG)

Who’s trading? Citywire AA-rated Richard Power

The trade: Octopus’ head of micro-caps upped his stake in greeting card and gift wrap maker IG Design Group from 8.1% of the shares to 9.2%.

How have the shares performed? After rocketing 325% over three years to September last year the shares have remained at highs, trading at 610p on Friday.

What does the company say? Investors in the company attempted another push on its upward resistance line in mid-April after it reported a 37% revenue boost from US firm Impact Innovations, doubling its North American business to create what it claimed was the world’s biggest retail gift packing business, saying profit would ‘significantly’ beat 2017’s figure.

What’s the outlook? The company also last month noted it intended to up the amount of cash it returned to backers. A three-strong universe of analysts rate it a unanimous ‘buy’ on a median price target of 720p, although this sits in the middle of a very broad spread between 640p and 800p."

BlackRock Smaller Companies Trust announced their results this morning, and they've been busy.....

"Another recent purchase is IG Design Group, the largest gift packaging group in the world. The company has generated excellent sales growth across all regions globally, whilst also benefiting from efficiency improvements."

A little commentary from Canaccord alongside a decent summary of the trading statement:

Extract:

"HE BROKERS' VIEW

Canaccord Genuity has an 800p price target on the stock, implying the best part of 37% upside. The broker comments: ‘The group’s strategic pillars of working with the winners, design and innovation, and efficiency and scale should allow it to achieve sustained and profitable organic growth.’

Paid-for-research house Progressive Equity Research sticks with its full year 2019 and 2020 earnings per share estimates of 27p and 31.5p respectively, but also notes ‘the potential for upgrades from further benefits flowing from the acquisition of Impact Innovations’."

Comment from Berenberg:

"IG Design could increase its U.S. presence, says Berenberg, especially after the "transformational" acquisition of Impact Innovations last August. Plus, the $5 million synergies from fiscal 2021 identified at the time are likely to be delivered, says the brokerage. Cross selling and purchasing-synergies excluded, Berenberg believes there's scope for the company's presence in the U.S. to be expanded. Berenberg keeps its buy rating on the stock and an unchanged target price of 640 pence."

Progressive Equity have updated this morning as follows. With 31.5p EPS forecast for this year - and note the potential for upgrades - IGR could be ready for another run-up:

Extracts:

"Wrapping Up a Strong Year
Q4 Trading Update

By leveraging its innovation and efficiency in manufacturing and sourcing, maintaining strong customer relationships, successfully integrating acquisitions and continuing strong financial management, Design Group is expecting to deliver 9.8% organic sales growth with a 37% annual increase in sales. Margin expansion is expected to continue and impressive cash conversion has driven average gearing
below 1.3x EBITDA."

"The Group indicated that it is committed to maintaining strong organic growth but that targeted M&A also remains as an option.

We maintain our EPS forecasts for FY2019E and FY2020E but note the potential for upgrades from further benefits flowing from the acquisition of Impact Innovations".

Excellent news, another confident statement. Shanklin, Progressive Equity currently forecast £418.2m revenues for last year, so around £449m would be hugely above expectations.

Net cash is "significantly above expectations", and it looks like another acquisition is on the cards.

Well done yet again to IGR.

Don#t know if Stockopedia have the wrong forecasts but it is showing revenue of £418.1m for y/e 31-Mar-18 whereas last year +37% is £448.7m.

No idea what they mean in terms of PBT, EPS or DPS.

Another great year in the bag for IGR, we go from strength to strength, long may it continue..

My highlights..
Strong final quarter wraps up another year of double digit revenue and profits growth.

As a result, the Board anticipates the financial performance of the Group to be in line with market expectations and significantly up year on year.

Shares snippet:-

Gift packaging, greetings cards and creative play products maker IG Design (IGR:AIM) improves 2.3% to 544p on the news Impact Innovations, acquired in August, has been awarded Supplier of the Year 2019 for seasonal and celebration products by the world’s biggest retailer, Walmart.

This is a catalyst for Canaccord Genuity to wax lyrical about IG Design – the broker sticks with its ‘buy’ rating and 800p price target – which it believes is ‘well placed to deliver strong, profitable growth in the coming years, through a combination of organic growth, mainly driven by the growth of leading retail customers and sales in new product categories, combined with potential acquisitions.'

RNS's re award wins are often PR fluff, but this is an exception - winning Walmart's Supplier of the Year in its category is pretty impressive.

Particularly as "Commercial measures such as sales, sell through, inventory, and profit were also taken into account":
