Trojan,
That was one of my ideas but the "Sleeping Partner" needs to keep the funds in the UK....whether a UK company could be set up and then uses its capital to invest abroad ??....it may be a way of getting around the problem of it needing to be a UK investment

Even better - invent a catchy addictive new online gambling game that no-one else has done, once it caught on you could RAKE IT IN.

With £500k you could easily setup a nice little profitable business, only two or three staff would be needed, advertising on UK media would be the major expense following a licence purchase.

The industry is online poker, there are plenty of gaps in the current market for newcomers.

i am working on it,
maybe your thread might get a proper response if you
the "millionaire" learnt to spell "serious" propley...
then posters with ideas might take you more seriously,

property abroad....

euros zome - borrow money at 3.5%, or fixed for the life of the mortgage at 4.5%, get 6% yield which rises each year plus any capital growth. 80% mortgages

German and french economy set to recover

Someone else pays for your property through rent - no brainer

It's still hard to believe that just a few short years ago investors were paying £120 a share for Baltimore Technology . After the dot.co. crash property boomed , though this could be past tense now. Looking back it seems so obvious with ultra low interest rates all that money had to go somewhere ..... and cheap loans made property the obvious choice. Thats history now ....... Is there a big idea out there now ? Something that will seem as obvious looking back .. I'm not talking share tips but seismic financial change .... Or do you believe like me that cash is the answer , boring but true. After all the markets are going nowhere except with a downward bias........

IKN,

Re - copyright.

Nintendo did a very similar thing to protect their games. Inside the game cartridge was a chip which played a tune. Nintendo copyrighted the tune and successfully protected the design.
