Crystal amber as about as useless as they come. They have been told to wind up and the idiots just carry on making more investments. Richard Bernsteins track record is awful.

I would be interested in other posters' views on why Crystal Amber keep buying and pushing their stake close to 30%.

What is their exit strategy? They are in it to make money like all of us so do they sea a lease extension with Bluewater as being more or less a done deal and the funding gap for Bondholder payments not an issue plus future funding for full field development being available thus a long and profitable future ahead for HUR or are Crystal Amber a bunch of idiots and throwing good money after bad. I am pretty certain the latter is not the case.

I would love to know what is driving their decision to continue adding to their massive stake.

One thing we can be certain of though is that Crystal Amber are a lot closer to the action than any of us and with that said are happy to keep adding.

Response to market rumours

Lundin Energy AB (Lundin Energy or the Company) has noted recent speculation in the markets. The Company continuously engages in opportunities that are potentially value accretive to its shareholders. In that context, the Company does at times hold discussions with various parties. As of today there are no conclusive decisions that have been made in relation to any such discussions.

EDIT on 30 /11 NOW REVISED TO Dec 01 - 07:00 ALTERA WIND
Shuttle Tanker ARRIVAL
S.T.S.2

Wind under 40 k not a problem but they have chosen to start a little later as its very calm tomorrow as can be seen from above wind estimates.Tanker not going to Rotterdam doing a trf at Scapa not unusual Enquest offloads do these type of trf's at Scapa DRAFT ON ARRIVAL @AM9.2
Ships like oil tankers and gas carriers carry huge amount of cargo in bulk which does not have to be unloaded in just one port but at different ports. Even some carriers like VLCC and ULCC which are massive in size does not berth in port or jetty for discharge operation due to draught restrictions. In such condition ship to ship transfer is utilised.

A ship to ship transfer becomes very economical as ship does not have to berth at the jetty, especially for huge oil tankers, which removes the port berthing charges and also cut short the time for berthing and mooring. But all these comes at a cost of high environmental pollution and fire risk as chances of leakage in operation is always there in open sea when ship is not moored or it is moving.

this link gives details of scapa oil to terminal owned by repsol

Steelwatch may be able to add further on the trfs

I did see that this morning posted by FT commodities chap , JPM have been bullish and think oil is inexplicably cheap! The basis of the argument is underfunding in existing and new production while demand will pick up strongly as we exit pandemic ( one day!) certainly would make the numbers on extracting the last 3.5 to 4 m barrels rather interesting.Their theory seems backed up as i recently read opec+ doesn't really have the capacity anymore to raise production much...many members in less developed countries have simply not had investment to boost or even maintain production levels.

Brent Crude 76.85 +4.13 +5.68%Decent bounce from Brent as evidence from SA far from convincing Omicron presents any greater danger than Delta..if its mild and gives immunity it might well run through countries without any great harm while giving immunity...who knows what the spikey little critter can do ?So far the jury is out be nod at increased mitigation seems sensible. In the meantime recovery on Brent helpful but still well down on this latest development which is not welcome.Personally still see new highs around the corner and q1 '22 could well see $100.
