26/11/2021 07:32 | Not good news on the Covid front though. Hysterical reaction to a new variant is weird. Phrases like "It could be ..." "has the potential ..." used in many news headline bulletins without waiting to see how it survives the northern hemisphere. That reference to CA's way of reporting its five major components of NAV is misleading. It varies monthly by how many shares they have, the price of a share, as well as the valuation of other Holdings. Recently HUR has been in focus but only because they bought into the rise (price rise exaggerated by holding rise, not necessarily any more profit). The extension of AM supply vessel needs an RNS. It is good news, thanks Laserdisk and Pisces. | wbodger
25/11/2021 21:36 | Agree , they're a bit stymied I guess for the next two offloads with the bondholders still there. If production is holding up and they move past bubble point without major incident think the plans come through with extending AM and moving forward with a solvent cash generative company past redemption..unencumb | kooba
25/11/2021 21:12 | I get you , thought I'd simplify a bit ...absolutely correct there is no read through from the 30p value per CA share attributed to Hurricane and Hurricanes value itself. | kooba
25/11/2021 18:31 | the market has a pessimistic future outlook for HUR as if the bonds are not to be repaid . Until management inform the market of a plan for Lancaster and be upbeat for the future outlook, then we cannot move forward. The policy of batten down hatches and strengthen balance sheet cannot be forever seems presently they do NOT want further investors | laserdisc
25/11/2021 18:17 | Yes that works even better .... point was, some LSE posters trying to imply 30p is where CA see Hurricane share price. This is clearly not the case. | redpolo32

25/11/2021 17:29 | Crystal Amber had 27.3% of Hurricanes issued equity on 31st Oct..the share price closed at 5p on that day being the month end valuation.27.3% of the issued capital of 1992m ( market cap tad under £100m then ) is 543m shares held ..slightly up on last reported holding in company in Oct of 540,750,000m .543m shares at 5p is £27.2m that represents 30.7p of Crystal Ambers NAV on that date.Straight forward valuation based on share price at month end...no magic the 30.7p relates to value of hurricane holding per CA share. | kooba
25/11/2021 17:02 | Thanks redpolo32 present mkt cap hur @86m shipwatch maersk forza will be back on Lancaster tomorrow will have a look at tracking then, it was a week out at old 4z last time it was on site, noticed a bit of survey work also continuing back to am as weather was calmer for those interested should be around 60°11.198'N 003°51.207'E ALSO LEFT ABERDEEN 25 NOV 21 12:33 GRAMPIAN SOVEREIGN TO AOKA MIZU, OFFSHORE OILFIELDS edit my notes 26/11 3 am forza @ 60.17083° / -3.843113° | laserdisc
25/11/2021 15:30 | Its CA net asset value for their holding. So based on their book value of 155.8p, 30.7p is attributable to Prem, or 30.7/155.8 x 100 = 19.7% of CA's total net asset value. Based on 83m shares in issue this equates to 83m x 155.8p x .197 = approx £25.47m. As they hold 27.3% of Hurricane this in turn puts the net asset value on Hurricane in total as (25.47/27.3) x 100 = Approx £93.3m Hence, the 30.7p has absolutely nothing to do with hurricanes share price. I fear some are trying to mislead on the LSE board. Keep in mind also CA's shares are actually trading lower than 155.8p. | redpolo32
25/11/2021 14:28 | It's the amount of value in the CA share price for each holding I believe. | pensioner2
25/11/2021 13:02 | yes its not their average , if you look at de la rue probably you could have bought for 42p before the rise market obviously not reflecting potential the net asset value at crystal amber | laserdisc
25/11/2021 11:34 | What's that 30.7 p per shareCan not be their average having bought so many at low low prices | jam2day

23/11/2021 19:16 | NORTH STAR SHIPPING (ABERDEEN) LTD own this supply vessel. Hurricane first contracted this supply vessel back in 2018 on a 12mth contract. Its been the main supply vessel since AM went live, we have had additional supply vessels on spot when we had the rigs. We probably get a good rate in view of the continuity | laserdisc
23/11/2021 18:54 | Supply vessels are always available on the 'Spot Market' for single trips | fat frank
23/11/2021 18:39 | Significance of supply vessel ? Are supply vessel agreements for minimum 1 year or can they be shorter ? The company has committed to a post redemption contract but maybe had no choice ? Not an area I have a clue about but if they have chosen 1 year with 1 year option , that was the previous contract then it could be seen as a positive that they are anticipating an extension and post existing contract production ?Thoughts from the likes of laserdisc appreciated. | kooba
23/11/2021 17:44 | And brent highs of the day big turnaround and the market has been caught with a rather muted SPR release...OPEC will do nothing to dampen demandIF IRAN DOESN'T COME BACK, OIL MAY RISE ABOVE $90: GOLDMANBit of a cold snap and new multi year highs coming. | kooba |
