06/1/2020 20:29 | Been watching these for years and never tempted. I found it to be too speculative; not tempting for a larger oiley, apart from Spirit (if they fit that description), which made me doubtful of their value; they still appear to be speculative outside of what they're producing atm, and I now get the feeling that posters here are becoming less convinced - gone is the back-slapping. Ok for a small punt for some, I guess, but nothing more. But each to their own, and good luck - you might yet get rich :). | poikka

06/1/2020 19:59 | Ngms So the HUR guidance of 2.8 mbbl last year at a cost of $22 and a sale price of $62 (actual) gives a profit of in the region of 50% of $112 million or $56 million. And you believed that it would be better than this? This year's guidance of cost at $18 and income at $60 or $42 per bbl profit (($21 to HUR)gives a profit in the region of $150 millions After several dozen posts from you over the past few days, We have a restatement TODAY from HUR that it is still perched water and reasoning behind it. When will you give up your deramping and start Enjoying the ride? Or are you getting well paid for your efforts? I THINK WE WILL SEE A POSITIVE CORRECTION IN THE MORNING GLA DYOR | newbigginer
06/1/2020 19:46 | Coning cannot be fixed, but the other items you mention can be at a cost. It's interesting that the model for the EPS put coning far more likely than perched water, but neither were expected. It's fair to say HUR need to re-examine the model. | ngms27

06/1/2020 19:43 | arregius, Thank you for contacting Hurricomms, to them for sending you such an unequivocal reply, and again to you for reposting it here. Of course, their reply imparts nothing new to surprise anyone who's been following the story closely and who's got an IQ greater than their hat size. But nice to see confirmation 'from the horse's mouth', so to speak. We know that Hurricane themselves sometimes monitor these BB's and they must have fallen off their chairs laughing on reading some recent insane stuff such as tankers transporting water, and to Germany to 'hide' such a thing! But it's good you've prompted them to actually pipe up and quash such a stupid idea. Maybe now people can move on a bit. Though it's been a weird and wonderful trip. Cross-BB comms, involving more than one site... Though of course the person spreading ridiculous rumours HAD to use Lemonfool, 'cos it's the only BB platform I know of where one can post at such length with graphs, and stuff like that. | awkward1
06/1/2020 19:31 | But ngms, at that point there were a host of risk issues that no longer exist. The commissioning of the sub surface and the AM were certainly not risk free, though the risk might have been low (say 10%!). On top of that the wells had not been produced and any assumptions on WC were theoretical. In practice the production rates and downtime exceeded expectations. Agreed, there is some continuing uncertainty about WCs, but to suggest that the risks are higher now than then suggests a serious error estimation of the risk factors at one of the two times. | greyingsurfer
06/1/2020 19:24 | Found my own answer from the 2017 CPR:The Aoka Mizu FPSO has a total fluids capacity (oil plus water) of 35,000 bpd. Produced water is not expected during the EPS, however should early water breakthrough occur, provision exists within the topsides facilities for surface treatment of up to 20,000 bw/d using hydrocyclones and a degasserprior to discharge overboard. | ngms27
06/1/2020 19:14 | What's the AMs limit for water processing? | ngms27
06/1/2020 19:10 | I never even considered the AM failing tbh. | ngms27
06/1/2020 19:04 | steelwatch also highlighted the fact water was offloaded at sea after being treated but post got lost, see environmental statement , I seem to remember Catcher oil in past also going Wilhelmshaven, bp decide via agents which port to offload oil | laserdisc
06/1/2020 18:59 | Also thanks from me Arregius. It was also nice to be made absolutely clear that tankers carried oil and not PEARCHED water. That water being treated and then disposed of in the sea. Some were curiously stating that oil tankers were possibly half full of water.Hmmm | excell1
06/1/2020 18:48 | Thankyou for sharing Arregius, RE the crude delivery as I see it went into oil stock tanks at Wilhelmshaven then BP Europe tap off the main pipeline to german refinery Brent Crude Oil Futures | laserdisc
