geordy2, I notice you don't apply the same logic to people who constantly talk UP this share with no recognition of the potential downsides?

Sorry if I've missed it, but I've not seen an answer to my question aimed at those who are pushing the coning idea..... One more try - if coning is behind the water production, why is well 6 "dry" & only well 7z "wet"? Thanks.

Hi Porrohmann,

... Well 205/21a-6 has demonstrated a PI of 205 stb/psi/d (29.3% above previous tests) and well 205/21a-7Z has demonstrated a PI of 190 stb/psi/d (28.1% above previous tests)."...

Haven’t seen this PI info before.....source, pls ?

TIA and ATB

Johnny, please keep posting. It's absolutely necessary to hear the negatives as well as the positives, otherwise boards like this just become self-fulfilling prophecies, until it all goes horribly wrong. See also Aminex, Afren, Frontera, etc, etc.

Good, perfectly reasonable position.

Thank you.

Yes you have stated your view many times and it is understood.

Continually repeating your view is saying far more about your character than it is about the putative water issue.

The water maybe coming from the aquifer or be perched water or a bit of both. All a matter of judgement. My judgement is there is > 10% risk it's from the aquifer which would destroy shareholders.

Why would a company with all those positive aspects, who are producing oil at c13k bopd with a farm in major, with money (lots of money) in the bank and wells with world class PI indexes be trading at an inverse direction to Brent????

Onassis in a post card please.

.....Were they to hit 17k bopd thru 2020 (6mmbbls in total, give or take) & if the recent $5 or so increase in Brent was maintained thru 2020, that's worth around $30 mill to HUR's bottom line. Handy, but bear in mind HUR's EV is around a billion dollars

The food may have been excellent, but not to your taste.

All a matter of judgement.

Now give it a rest.

Amaretto: The market does get things wrong, especially in thin trading. I gave the example this morning of ECO which the market had down at 40p three weeks ago and now 62p. The market is not infallible. The brokers' forecast could be wrong or the market could be wrong but more likely somewhere in between but it is the mis-pricing which creates the opportunities.

If the food was bad at the dinner party then you should have the guts to say so.If not how the cook ever learn and get better?

ngms27:

I am sorry but I am filtering you. As a non investor here you are dominating the board and I am for one, whilst open to all views positive or negative think that your 80 posts over one weekend is just too much especially as they are repetitive and all negative.

I do not share the views of those who welcome your repeated posts and you obviously do not share my view that it is very disrespectful to existing shareholders to flood the board with negative comments once you have sold. It is a bit like leaving a dinner party and then telling everyone how bad the food was.

I would rather listen to what Dr. Trice has to say and will not be reading any more of your comments.

I suggest people also look at the EPS cases.Low case is around 3.5 years plateau production of 17k bopd with 85% uptime.Best case is around 12 years for plateau. In all cases Well 6 should be slightly more productive. With well 7z now already at 9400 bopd where does it leave the EPS?Will the ESPs come to the rescue? Will the water cut reduce? stabilise? carry on increasing? That's why the markets spooked after a poor drill campaign.
