what has changed from a month ago to make this go up from 28p to 36P. i can ever understand the shonkyness of the stock market. No amazing RNS to justify this rise.
Given nothing has changed, why wasnt it at 36p in December?. what a load of old tosh

hd, well done on your reading of the market on Monday and yesterday. You clearly still have the "je ne sais pas" from your working life.

In any event many thanks for your guessing there was a buyer lurking as it gives confidence to others to continue holding.

I continue to hold my shedful and have been extremely confident since meeting Dr T.

Like others I failed to sell at 50p+ in case I missed an early takeover bid. However sooner or later the real deal will appear. 2018 could be a good year for us.

if it is going by the book, 50 % correction finished we Will go double previous peak which brings us to 120p +. with some consolidation stops along.

Those participating in the placing didn't do so for a measly 10%! They could get that investing in a blue chip..they took part to at least double their money.

I would guess a mark-down first thing tomorrow to allow those who didn't know about today's rise to sell and then a swift mark-up once they've been absorbed by MMs

No T20, I'm afraid. Just an interest in the charts having worked alongside chartists in brokers' offices for years in the past. I was one of the few analysts back then who gave them the time of day!

HUR is my biggest holding by far and I've had it for some years now, with just a few trades at the margin (eg topping up at 11p and bailing out of that tranche at around 26p) I'm not generally a good trader though!

Have you been taking a T+20?

The move over 34.75p today was the last Intraday high for the last 6 month, next is 40p and then 52 and 67p the TOP price

Whilst The Big oilers may choose to wait and see what the EPS brings, I suspect a mid size oily may decide to jump first and try and take a slice of this huge potential.So many reasons to be positive but I have to remind myself this is the oil industry and things do not go 100% to plan due to the complexities involved here as we have seen already.I'm looking forwards to the next 12 -18 months and suspect we will be in a very different (positive) place as a company and as individual investors.

Inv' Head & Shoulders pattern on the daily chart starting to move up towards potential target area of 41p as we breakout above 34p today.

Think this is the long climb up prior to further news on the drilling. Very optimistic for once they start and could be even better once the oil starts flowing. :o)

From a market cap angle we are now at or above all time previous highs. Nice to see sentiment returning and a close above 35p would be a great positive step.
