24/4/2017 10:19 | I like many maybe guilty of counting chickens before hatched re CPR or moreso AS comments at the CMD,yes the CPR team will converse with HUR but if we go on lower expectations ( still massively underpriced ) then we may see a truer picture . and until we have a clear plane re funding ,future capex etc then I cannot envisage much happening . | gibso6767
24/4/2017 10:17 | And how would they pay off PMO's £2B + debt mountain? | fireplace22
24/4/2017 10:14 | Talking of Premier Oil how about Hurricane bidding for them. At £300m for PMO it might be an interesting move and would Fast Track Hurricane to production on its southern asssets. | davidblack
24/4/2017 09:51 | Nice to see the MMs are still stripping the impatient of their shares to pass on to firmer hands this morning. Mind you the process will not change much post the arrival of the CPR. Yes we should go up a bit on the new higher numbers but beyond that the impatient will just be selling at 65p instead of 56p as we wait the next real transformational point the JV with a major. My hope is that the JV will be based on Lancaster and Hurricane can then go off to prove up the remaining discoveries and add a few more with the major turning Lancaster into a "Swiss Cheese" of production wells as they work out how big their infrastructure needs to be to make this all happen. Spending a couple of hundred million drilling out Lancaster early on being a lot cheaper than what occurred to Premier and in out case with the oil getting much bigger with each drill hole it would be nice to get the optimum maximum capacity from day one. | davidblack
24/4/2017 09:15 | Bones:- "We just need an education system that allows teachers who can spell correctly to give our children a chance to compete for these jobs!" How perfectly true.... | heffermj
24/4/2017 09:12 | We seem to be missing a CPR? Looks like the Qualified Person forgot to buy paper for the printer and it will be out by "Friday." | davidblack
24/4/2017 09:12 | delayed 1hr | laserdisc
24/4/2017 08:39 | More MM manipulation this morning, there is a buy of at least 74,007 missing from the reported trades... | control1
24/4/2017 08:16 | Leeson, no doubt! | bones
24/4/2017 08:07 | Mr market thinks it's a great rns ;-) | jimarilo
24/4/2017 08:03 | very naughty, but absolutely done ALOT....... there is no register of beneficial ownership you see. anways, :-) | leeson31
24/4/2017 08:01 | Leeson, yes the IOM govt may allow all of that but the UK HMRC will still pursue you if you have control. Those are the basic UK tax rules on companies for UK residents whatever IOM says. I agree that those that can afford the big fees probably have ways and means of getting around it but without risk. Your talk of anonymity implies that you just have to "not tell" HMRC that you control an overseas co which would a little naughty....I also agree that UK should compete at 0% tax on companies once out of EU. That would encourage investment and create jobs. We just need an education system that allows teachers who can spell correctly to give our children a chance to compete for these jobs! | bones
24/4/2017 07:55 | What's great about it? Bang on expectations but no forward program still. What's happened to NT-3? What about more meat on the bones? | ngms27
24/4/2017 07:45 | Great rns from AEX this morning | jimarilo
24/4/2017 07:35 | Leeson, you can't simply set up a Manx co and, voila, you are not exposed to UK tax! Your Manx co will have to be directed by Manx residents that you can trust (probably a professional outfit) and then you have to prove that you cannot control the company's decisions. Living there probably helps! This is no doubt for another thread also. This one is for getting bored stiff listening to whinging about the share price and CA's motives :) | bones
24/4/2017 07:13 | No RNS. Don't panic, don't panic!!! | the guardian
24/4/2017 05:45 | If CPR new is released today we should see the 50s left behind for good . | gary38
24/4/2017 04:37 | It's a shame you have to pay capital gains tax in the UK. There is none in the IoM. And the funny thing is, lots of mega-rich UK residents just set up a Manx Limited co. and transfer their cash and assets into the co. and from that point onwards are anonymous, and aren't subject to either CGT or corporation tax. I think they should have incorporated Hurricane GLA Ltd in the IoM, so that if/when they do sell the asset, there'd be no taxes thus more for us in value or dividend. morning. :-) | leeson31
23/4/2017 23:45 | Not sure why talk about ISA's is annoying people when probably pretty much most LTH's have their HUR holding in one (94% for me) | control1
23/4/2017 19:21 | My money is on Thursday, so I shall book lunch with the Boss at my favourite pub. | altom
23/4/2017 19:20 | Zebbo yes again I agree , voila c èst fin | gibso6767
23/4/2017 18:54 | gibso6767, why dont you start a new thread elsewhere. No offence but I recon most HUR shareholders are now board stiff with ISA/SIPP talk. On a HUR thread | zebbo
23/4/2017 16:11 | DS yes slightly agree however Tax is a big part of any investment and prudent use of it can dramatically help . | gibso6767
23/4/2017 16:07 | Would everyone please concentrate on Hur. This is not a free advice centre. | dsmith57 |
