21/4/2017 10:29 | Kerogen are clearly bottom drawing this to a much later juncture. They know the value at stake here. | gregpeck7
21/4/2017 10:22 | I wonder why Kerogen haven't sold down to accumulate?! | rayrac
21/4/2017 10:12 | Gary's guesses are as accurate as his paddling pool dimensions, though we do have to allow for 'senile dementia' & someone who was taught in 'rod's, poles & perches'!! lol | enfranglais
21/4/2017 08:53 | If you look back to previous fundings, the April '16 was at a 46% premium to the prevailing share price The later one in October was at a 12% discount. So either might be possible. Following the recent drilling results & analysis the share price was expected to rise very strongly, so by selling down their holding, CA have effectively depressed the price which will allow them to add considerably more shares then if the share price were higher - especially if they are looking to take on the lions share. Their only possible downside is if the CPR is so good that there is considerable interest from elsewhere, and Hurricane are able to place at a premium, but with the size of the forthcoming funding (by whatever means) expected to be c. 50% of the present mcap, this is, IMO, unlikely. | steve73
21/4/2017 08:34 | If the cpr is a good as we expect then a placing at a discount to recent CA selling prices is far from nailed on, unless they have been privy to info that we're not. | fireplace22
21/4/2017 08:31 | Either way once funding is secure one way or other I see a significant rerating reflecting the true underlying value of the discovery as we move towards production. | kooba
21/4/2017 08:29 | This is quite normal practice by many funds and ii's. Slice some of the current holdings at high-prices to participate at the next fundraiser at x discount to then prevailing price, likely lower than what you sold for. Almost a guaranteed profit if your at the table and in the know.Cash | cashandcard
21/4/2017 08:25 | Steve nail on the head I believe. Also holding relative to size of fund had become an issue. If you think an large equity issue may have to be done at a discount and you are already fully invested do youA) sit tight and wait for discount issue you can't participate in where they will need to attract new investors whose interest it is to get in as low as possible.B) top slice into demand freeing up resources to participate and replace stock lower down and hopefully have an influence that it is not done at too big a discount? If HUR can attract a farm in on an appropriate timescale and appropriate terms that will fund EPS...I'm sure CA will be delighted as they are still a significant holder as the price flies...but you can't bank on that and HUR do need surety of funding to place orders to commence the EPS development sooner rather than later.Don't think you read CA top slicing as a reflection of their consideration of valuation but a technical readjustment before the next phase. As steve has said CA have been strongly supportive when the company couldn't raise a smile! | kooba
21/4/2017 08:11 | Works for me... or it would if I was right handed... LOL | steve73
21/4/2017 07:16 | That seems like cutting off your left arm so you can make your right arm longer, Steve. | rayrac
21/4/2017 07:14 | Good guess Gary! | rayrac
21/4/2017 05:55 | Maybe CA have been selling to free-up some readies to take part in the next round of equity raise. They've certainly been very supportive in the past, helping to fund a numbers of equity raise, but even they cannot have a bottomless pit. | steve73
21/4/2017 05:31 | CPR news release likely Monday. | gary38
20/4/2017 19:25 | That's very old news David.. . | leeson31
20/4/2017 19:12 | It would appear that the good Dr is likely to split the assets on the entry of a major. My guess is only Lancaster will be optioned at this time wit a first right of refusal on the next one as it becomes "Ripe." Odd that this was not released as an RNS as it speaks to their strategic thinking. | davidblack
20/4/2017 19:11 | Well the rots set in , rot as in later news than expected . We know that the forthcoming CPR will be as good at worst as the CMD thingymajig ! This in itself didn't really ruffle any feathers . So it's now about getting funding to get Texas tea flowing and money in the coffers to explore more , appraise etc . Well I've bought more and can sit and wait | gibso6767
20/4/2017 19:01 | It's all about funding, what what what wh... I've been and, in companies, that have come up with great CPR's. But it's got to have the backing of funding to have much effect on the sp, probably in the way of a t/o or a substantial partner. But as the CEO has said, they want out, so it doesn't look like a partner and HUR with a %. It's money money money. That's speaking speaking. What what what. Don't fool yourselves, BP and the likes, don't need a CPR to tell them what's down there. They would have their own guys looking! | rayrac
20/4/2017 17:38 | If I top up anymore I'll burst. .Looking forwards to next few months but expect periods of price drift as the news flow is lesser and less exciting than the drill bit turning, BUT we could be getting company changing news re funding etc. This is not a share I would try and trade. | hopeful holder
20/4/2017 17:01 | Had a very small top up today. Every little helps. | the sage
20/4/2017 16:38 | once we get some figures by way of the cpr and resource figures like ~2.4billion barrels or more, i think you'll find it will get wide attention.... | leeson31
20/4/2017 16:31 | A snail has more motion... | rayrac
20/4/2017 16:28 | Up a bit did I say?! It's not capable! | rayrac |
