Tempted to top up but have decided to build a pot of cash to accept discounted rights raise. I expect this to happen Q3/4 and then onto updated CPR (with HFX & Warwick) and EPS roll out.

I feel patience will be rewarded here.

Perhaps CA had offered to Hurricane stock to place previously?
Maybe this did not work out as well as CA hoped?
That might explain why they have not gone down this route.

To quickly get past this issue Hurricane needs a "Sponsor."

Someone inside a decent brokerage who is willing to go out there and create buyers and place that stock. Until that happens this will be a slow grind.

To get that to happen Hurricane need to build some good personal relationships which takes time and trust. Hopefully the other Board members could make that happen.

Jackthecat - Exactly, which brings me back to my question some weeks back, namely:

Are the BOD 'happy' with the 'unnamed seller' pegging the share price back to get a mid 50's placing away because that's what's on offer or fuming because they'd like it higher and less dilutive?

Jack you are probably right, the price just went down 2.2% if it makes it to 3%+ today will wager tomorrow for the RNS and a good one. Just a gut feeling based on previous drops before RNS's

One thing we can all agree on is that the cpr report is definetely coming, just exactly when is anyone's guess. I suspect a day or two before the RNS,volumes will really pick up and we will spike higher. The city always knows a day or two before the rest of us.

Farm out news and potential placing price are also key here to allow us to move higher.

In the meantime, switch off and we will know soon enough

The pointless political comments, including mine, merely reflect that nothing is happening here at Hurricane market wise and quite frankly it's going to be a bit boring until we get the CPR.

Even then it will take time for the CPR to have its real impact.

The true measure of which will be when Institutions start to accumulate the stock. But even then CA will oblige by off loading so I don't see any big movements upwards for a few weeks or even months.

Looks like a few months of hopefully upward consolidation?

Unfortunately I do not see news being released at the same exciting rate as it has been released during the past 12 months or so.

I therefore suspect the share price may drop a penny or two but I'm guessing it will hold to the 60/70p level once the CPR has been published. Do not forget that any equity linked debt or the fear of it will also hold us back.

Having said all that, without doubt HUR is sitting on huge assets, thus will be approached sooner or later. I'm also guessing the GLA will be taken away from us on it's own leaving Dr T to prove up the other fields.
