I don't see why we should contact Hurricane to make that point - there's a reason they haven't RNS'd yet; where's the advantage in forcing them to announce before they're ready?

If it doesn't come until Monday, then it doesn't matter from the POV of my investment - but it does give them the entire weekend to conclude whatever preparations they are making before they make the announcement.


Edit: and if they don't announce today I expect it will only keep the market on tenterhooks - a genuine case of not wanting to be out over the weekend in case the news is good.

Of course we don't know that news won't come today anyway.

The rig moving is material news. They are duty bound under aim rules to announce it. I assume people will be contacting hurricane to make this point.

Well , I'm amazed that there's no 7am RNS however the day is not over .

Wonder if there's a reason for delay , as it obvious whatever this well has or hasn't its complete .

I think that as greg says, it's apparent it's not a duster - they needn't have waited for the rig to move before announcing that.

It's interesting that they're taking their time - who knows why, but it doesn't take long to deliver bad or unremarkable news, IMO.

anchors are all at approx 1800m from the rig, at compass cardinal points.
5 recovered, SW & E anchors in progress, NE to do.
If they crack on through the night, we should get the 'rig demobbed' RNS tomorrow before end of play.

and hopefully at least a teaser on well results :-)
