09/2/2017 11:45 | What are the options for a deal? 1. A total buy out 2. A production JV Anything else? | sheep_herder
09/2/2017 11:43 | If it's same farmees returning to the table then you would think that a lot of the due diligence will have been already done would therefore not expect this to be a long drawn out process as before | laserdisc
09/2/2017 11:43 | Are we on the eve of a deal being done over next few weeks as tweeted by AS, if so this will fly. | gary38
09/2/2017 11:36 | Moving up nice and steady before lift offwhich could on good news rocket to 80p / £1. | gary38
09/2/2017 11:36 | My bet is the deal will be done with BPand Stobie is playing us a little with an old picture. BP or Shell are the natural partner as all that existing intrastructure would come with the deal and cut years of the project timeline. With BP first big oil production might be 2023 or so, with others add two more years. Also I think you might find a very cheap very big production rig available being slowly built by a company who were betting on $100 oil! With a BP or Shell behind the deal those rigs would suddenly become available at 40c on the dollar! Now who finished selling down their holding yesterday? We get such a nice bump the following day. | davidblack
09/2/2017 11:34 | hiddendepths, you should be with the PR people as you have explained HUR's position perfectly. I've only met the Doc twice at AGMs but am as much convinced as are you. You have a shedful [you mentioned the figure a year or so ago] whilst I only have half a shedful. In any event I am more convinced than ever that HUR will continue the journey northwards, probably until one of the majors sees the light and offers £1.50/£2 per share. As you indicate Halifax will clarify matters. Maybe just maybe the home major will wish to repel invaders and we will see two bidders for what will surely be a gamechanger for the UK. | chessman2
09/2/2017 11:33 | Maybe Rich but my guess is he was already in Huston at Transocean HQ. Like I say - just a guess............... | pounddreamer
09/2/2017 11:27 | Good post hiddendepths...Thank I like to see all angles covered- both positive and negative.... While its great to see almost daily hysterical ramping of a share, from a few (not you)- I`d like to see some hysteria and jubilation from the Oil Industry too- by way of a FI partner eager as some of the posters on here to be involved in HUR. i`ve seen too many E+P oilers think they can go it alone- When infact they can`t most of the time....Shareholders get wiped out or diluted into obscurity.... Lets hope Mr Trice isn`t too greedy. | nicebut
09/2/2017 11:25 | yes, little bit joiny dotty, but it would suggest what you infur Rich, certainly he doesnt appear to be on holiday! the daily range on the candles in last few session are great for traders, but looking at the closing price each time, thats the real clue, this is making higher highs, chart looking great at mo, need a close at 53.5p or higher today, and i think it'll make a new surge higherer than current ATH 58p (intraday).. | leeson31
09/2/2017 11:19 | All, You need to have a look over on LSE. The Stobie tweet was cryptic. In yesterdays interview (5 hours behind - east coast)he mentioned talking to majors and "trying to get this deal done". Then today the tweet whilst flying from east coast over the midewest.... where could he be going (not Texas)... Chevron are based in CA. Joint the dots. Not long now. Rich | rich73
09/2/2017 11:18 | What is Alistair Stobie's twitter name? | kirtonender9

09/2/2017 09:21 | This much oil in a very politically stable area, no problem for buyers. | gregpeck7
09/2/2017 09:19 | No, HUR is de-risked when someone sticks their hand in their pocket. A few Co`s have recently said they have loads of oil, only they can`t get a FI, sale or anything- For number of reasons both geopolitical and due PoO etc. Pretty useless if you can`t sell it isn`t it? | nicebut
09/2/2017 09:16 | telbap - I can assure you that if were to sell all my shares in HUR it would take more than 0.25p off the share price ;-) However I'm not going to sell a single one and am slightly peeved about today's rebound as I was aiming to pick up a few more on the cheap! | hiddendepths
09/2/2017 09:00 | The more I look and read on this, the more tempted I am to switch away from my primary investment I sound energy.....this is by far my second largest holding, however, I am tempted to level it up with sound.....I think once Halifax has a successful oil show, the de risk will be complete, then time to swap some of my sound golden tickets (ngms) for HUR ones. | telbap
09/2/2017 08:29 | during which time the share price has moved up a penny :-) | the don of dons
09/2/2017 08:28 | telbap, it's quite simple. As you can see on here, the discussion has been diverted from being solely about Hurricane. That is what trolls do and unless they are filtered, they achieve their goal. | the guardian
09/2/2017 08:23 | Is oil leaking out yet!! | gregpeck7
09/2/2017 08:14 | telbap, don't underestimate the power of social media (in any form) | control1 |
