I just listened to the podcast again with emphasis on Halifax.

At 2mins51 "Plus really great exploration news" when talking about upcoming news
At 9mins12 "Assuming Halifax comes in, feeling pretty chuffed with ourselves"

Whilst I admit to reading (in this case listening) between the lines Halifax is looking good.

i think even shorters would be aware of the newsflow and share price strength here. i check the shorts each day on shorttracker; theres none...

zztop, here's a calculation:

8bn barrels x 0.30RF = 2.4bn barrels x $12.5/barrel = $30bn (£24bn approx)

That gets you to your figure. Bit of a stretch from the look of it.

£5bn might be nearer the mark, which, if we assume dilution up to a new total of 1.8bn shares in issue (or equivalent via farmout) in order to get EPS up and running, would give £2.80/share.

PcokThese are low prices so dont rely on the shorters because they are bound for the shorters graveyard being burnt here.

8 craggle I thought that at one time ,but if you listen to vox previous podcast this round of drilling seems definitely ending with Spitsbergen till next phase just too much going on it seems

The coming breeze is beginning to smell sweeter and sweeter. Some phenomenal numbers being batted about. I don't mind if we only get to £2 as that would be great.

I do, however, want the shorters to really get busy in the few weeks news gap we may now face with Halifax drill proceeding. I can then top up at a lower cost.

This is looking like a quite remarkable and completely game changing set of discoveries.

Ta laser , I just wondered if perhaps hurricane had gone to the ii's to pop in another drill. Hence the selling to perhaps fund and or balance there holdings.Certainly seems like something is going on maybe just a bit of profit taking ? Plenty of big news due anyway.

At the risk of a little dreaming what would it take to proof best case scenario from where we are now?
Another 3 wells on top of a Halifax success?
One on whirlwind and another in the Lincoln/Whirlwind field. Then one between Lancaster/Halifax.
3 more wells or more?
