It does seem strange that all of a sudden the company is engaging with shareholders because they need as many as possible to part with their money. Once they've got it'll be normal service. I'm just laffing at the way they've all been treated then they all seem to say the board sound genuine. There was something that stood out that was the bit that said 'certain institutions' will take up the offer. Normally that would be ALL because it would be so good it would be easy money for them. This is why it just does not make sense on valuations people keep mentioning, if it was so good more institutions would be invested in HUM only 15% are that number is the lowest I've ever seen on a stock. That alone should be screaming out that it's not all what it seems it just doesn't add up

Are there not a few similarities between the betts and Mr John Palmer of the £25m Brinks Mat theft?

John Palmer was originally from Birmingham, the stolen gold became untraceable after it had passed through his gold smelter linked to his gold and jewellery sales business (Scadlynn Ltd) in Bedminster Bristol.

Just imaging the amount of cash that could be made if one had control of both a gold mine and a gold smelter business.

Who has control of both a gold mine and a gold smelter together? Not many I would think.

Agreed, Bo Doodak. A man of integrity would have taken responsibility and resigned by now.

The US data on Personal Income, Expenditure and the inflation rate for Personal Expenditure in January-the latter heavily weighted in the Fed’s thinking-came out today:

Personal Income: up 0.6% v 1.2% expected.

Personal Expenditure: up 1.8% v 1.4% expected.

PCE Index: up 0.6% v 0.5% expected.

PCE Core: up 0.6% v 0.5% expected.

PCE Core: up 4.7% y/y v 4.4% expected. That suggests prior months have been revised up a little.

So, every important indicator of inflationary pressure in January was moving in the wrong direction.

The Dollar Index is up 0.6%. Gold is down to $1,813. 10 Yr Bond yield up to 3.94%. Wall Street is down 1.6% and all other markets are following. Markets are reacting as they should.

Not invested in these yet, but it would appear there is many shorts out on this share, it looks like many who posts on this thread are the culprits, I'll have to try and find the shorting data!

LLB Why do you insist on convincing us all on here that you are obviously an idiot? We all already know that. Yanfofailure was also "on time AND on budget" The share price has gone down ever since. What don't you understand?

3 times it was stated over the interview Kouroussa was on time and on budget. We'll soon see.

Wish DB would realise he might gain more credibility from being willing to be able to admit to at least one or any of his mistakes over the years, and then highlight learning from them. That's strength of character, not weakness.

Optionality - I'd rather DB just said HUM has turned out to have been a non-myopic binary bet for the last few years

p.s.
I expect the same thing to happen at Korousa in a few years time. It has a very high strip ratio but the widths and grades that have been released look better than KEUG so has the makings of a long life underground mine.

Most interesting part to me was the switch in emphasis to underground at Yanfollila. Typically shear zone gold deposits such as this have ore shoots that go very deep so we can expect a long and hopefully profitable mine life for KEUG.

Coris Bank and its expert advisors know the projects far better than anyone on here. It is telling that it wants to take a very large equity stake in the company and obviously sees very considerable upside in the share price from 7.79p

With 575M shares including all the new raise equity, and USD400M on the balance sheet, there is an whole lot of value to be unlocked onto the share price as the debt winds off here..

Also good to hear repeated the VEIN current MCAP is CAD40M and represents their 49% of Dugbe, our 51% is worth the same or just over..

Kouroussa was always a 7 year LOM project known form purchase, the upside is their to be drilled and found, Cassidy want their 2% NSR.. :o)

I give up... See you all in a few months when the obvious has been realised.

400 million revenue and 400 million net assets for less than 40 million. If you still can't see what that means then you can't be helped.

Based on new narrative I actually thought the video was negative. Yanfolila was described as being being a smaller mine going forwards and Kouroussa was highlighted as being a short mine life. Not sure they wanted to give that message, but it was telling.

Pure desperation to issue an RNS to hype up a VaxMarkets interview (remember directors can't lie in an RNS, but they can in an interview).
Obviously, the "hole" in the accounts is still there and it needs to filled somehow. And getting more debt finance is obviously impossible - they've tapped that out. So it's either more equity dilution or bust.
Note the removal of the phrase that Kouroussa is on budget in the quarterly RNS. That's significant.

Well by the looks of the feed activity, it seems that the clueless and obsessive deramping gang have just been left to their own mutual masturbation club. Thumbing up each others posts and getting zero reactions from everyone else.

Everyone's filtered the clowns by the looks of it. Happy days

Agreed! Good interview. With a fair wind, they should be debt free by end of 2024 and making over $100m profit in 2025. I see these share at 20p+ by end of this year.
