Well by the looks of the feed activity, it seems that the clueless and obsessive deramping gang have just been left to their own mutual masturbation club. Thumbing up each others posts and getting zero reactions from everyone else.

Everyone's filtered the clowns by the looks of it. Happy days

Agreed! Good interview. With a fair wind, they should be debt free by end of 2024 and making over $100m profit in 2025. I see these share at 20p+ by end of this year.

#Scalper, why not buy on the open market now at 7p instead of the open offer at 7.79p...? unless you require significant volume and then the current share price would get driven past the offer price by demand pull.. :o)

On the face of it a plausible presentation. The pricing of the PI offer above current share price explained and to a degree reassuring as "they don't need the money". Fundraise/dilution secures K development removes risk.
Yani moves to lower output, lower cost underground mining and on track with output so far. K still on track and on budget. Looking for new chairperson.

Agree, solid interview. Very exciting time for the company with Kouroussa on time and on budget with first gold at the end of the next quarter and Yanfolila performing much better. I will be taking up my rights in the open offer

#Sleveen, solid interview and update, with the key takeaway being Kouroussa is on time AND on budget.. Onward and upward..

Reading that RNS looks like it is telling you guys to empty your pockets ASAP there isn't much time because we're doing it anyway giving the impression they've got enough votes. I hope you guys get something out of this.

This will go under if Betts doesn't go. Anyone considering investing should read the top fifty posts on todays LSE bb. In fact, nobody has had anything good to say about the way this company has been running for over five years now.....reflected in the abysmal share price These guys are obviously con artists and have absolutely no consideration for the shareholders. Pathetic company, pathetic Ceo and pathetic management.

BTW, to give an idea of the influence that Wagner mercenaries (and by extension the Russian state) now have over Mali's military junta, Mali is only one of 6 countries which have just voted in support of Russia's invasion of Ukraine at the UN. (The others were Russia, Belarus, Eritrea, North Korea, and Cuba - nice company!).
A quick reminder that Wagner make money in all the countries (CAR, Syria etc.) that they operate in by racketing local mining operations.
If you can't see what's coming here, you're wilfully blind...

Yes, there is a concern about community relations at the new mine (Kou). I know that, and I'm not even following HUM closely. There have been riots in the local town. And deaths.

As for Dugbe and other gold mine projects looking for finance, there are literally a hundred of them being touted on the market at any one time. DYOR on that. Statistically, one in three mine projects progress from DFS (not PFS or PEA, but DFS) to becoming an actual mine! So most fail. Dugbe is very comfortably within the "not appealing enough" bracket. Grades not thrilling, hard rock = lots of power but no available power, high capex, jungle, no trained workforce, Ebola and other tropical diseases, utterly corrupt local government, utterly corrupt national government, no roads, poor port access, possibility of country descending into civil war again... I mean, if you were an ambitious young mining executive, would you risk your career by backing this prospect?!?

CC Yes, this really is big time extracting the urine, but they have got away with it now for many years and these delusional idiots keep topping up!

You know the cheek of offering shares at above market price to generate cash flow because they've run out of cash is a risk and P take. What if they run into delays or problems?

Something doesn't add up with this company I just can't work out what it is, it's lots of warning signals and a long term decline in the share price I'm much happier watching this from the sidelines than invested. It's my gut that told me to get out before the shares are no longer tradeable. I get the feeling the owners and the bank's will make money on deals the shareholders could get shafted.

CreditCrunchies I agree with you, but for many of the long term investors, (especially the ones that have lost their a$$,) this isn't funny anymore. Here is a co. that is "managed" by an inexperienced, narcissistic, arrogant Ceo and Bod who don't give a rat's a$$ about the shareholders.

A glance at the LSE bb this morning makes it abundantly clear that Betts and co are feeding the shareholders B/S, more B/S and even more pure, unadulterated B/S. In fact, the complete company is founded on B/S. It's anyone's guess what the final outcome will be.

So a white knight company has come to their rescue to buy HUM shares at full price to generate cash and they own this company? Sounds like Tommy Cooper lol

Ask HOC about community relations, a great example of what can happen when you don't care about poor people in some distant land that you rely on.
