Let's hope this helps sentiment in pushing this to North of 30p which IMO (I'm biased as hold loads) it should be as a minimum given the price of gold continuing to hold very firm and with lower interest rates coming on stream etc etc...DYOR

When you look at other gold producing companies some have gone up 3,4.500% hum not even doubled, so profit taking here will be minimum, also we have a seller but with results not far away volume should start to pick up each week then Odey if still selling should be out.

The Dow Jones fell over a thousand point from its intra-day high yet gold held its gains. The test will come if the Dow falls below its low last week because it looks like investors take profits from gold to cover losses from equities.

I shall also stick to this board there seems to be a loon on every thread on ADVFN with the deramper virus....if it is supported my articulated thought or numbers or even a possible scandel..great that is helping the ADVFN community to discuss a project.

It dropped like a stone as Crispen reduced his holding and not because of the tosh the deramper was spouting and no doubt panicked one or two out.

Well done BT much appreciated, hopefully when you come back it won't be to say I told you so. Couple of months is, say, on publication of Q1 operations and then we can be discussing actual numbers and how the share price reacts. All the best on your break, just hope you're sincere.

FYI

Last year the 1st qtr 2019 results were announced on 16th April. The full year 2018 results were announced on 28th May and the Report and Accounts were available about a week later. From those, EBITDA was given as $12.678mil and adjusted EBITDA as $14.737mil. The difference in those two numbers was due almost entirely to the write-down of the value of the Cora holding. I make the 2018 annual net of ASIC gold price received multiplied by the ounces poured at $13.6mil.

On the same basis, the 2019 figure was $46.6 mil and, presumably, any write-down of the Cora holding will be less than $1 mil. The 4th qtr alone was $20.8mil.

IMO EBITDA forecasts for 2020 could be raised substantially if the gold price averages $1600 for the year. As an investor here, I'm hoping for more from the gold price.
