Perhaps new highs by the close of business today CR, but at the moment it is not sure what it wants to do! Perhaps more buys will start coming in in the 2 or so weeks before the ex-div date on 22nd May I think it is?

Budget this week - got to be positive stuff from Osbourne ahead of the election hor the house building sector and cash in punters pockets imo.

Superb operational gearing situation due to its size means a lot of the absolute gross margin gains drop down to the profit line,and the depots take 7 years to fully mature,with new depots coming into underpin the advances in billings

very crude numbers but..

In the last 5 years revenue has increased 25% but earnings have increased 80%

This is the kind of long term trend that make shareholders very happy IMO

Personanly I was hoping for a return of capital but the share buy back should work in our favour so long as most are for cancellation.

"Howden Joinery UK depot sales in the first two periods of 2015 (to 21 February) were up 9.9% on the same period last year."

A 14% sales rise last year boosted earnings by 45%.

Hard to see how earnings are only forecast to rise less than 10% when sales are up 10% imo.

Looking for some decent upgrades here - still well of the £5 I felt was fair value before those stonking results imo.

£20m+ net cash too.

Volume very low.

£70M share buyback over 2 years is £700k a week or £140k per day. Not sure they have started yet as any buyback trades are usually RNSed. Broker probably waiting for dips to buy?
