Arguably Horizonte is already bust. Friday's RNS included:

"In the meantime, the Company's Brazilian subsidiary Araguaia Níquel Metais Ltda ("ANML"), which is the borrower of the senior loan facilities, may need to resort to certain protective measures to negotiate indebtedness and work on a restructuring plan to be approved by its creditors."

This is essentially outlining the need to enter the Brazilian equivalent of Chapter 11 ("bankruptcy protection"). Solvent companies don't need Chapter 11!

Note that the RNS outlines that "protective measures" might also be needed in the UK as the PLC has guaranteed all of the relevant debt.

Hi all. This post is for potential new investors. Over 30 years I've seen been through the growth of companies like SQZ at 3p goto 400p. HZM is potentially a similar story. One strategy is to buy say 1% of your portfolio now at about 3p and then hope financial package will be done at a higher price because the NAV minus debt and excluding the metal in the ground is higher. But this is AIM and funding could be done at say 2p and this is when you should double up.

I feel sorry for holders here being eaten up by inflation. Inflation is going down and we get through this and I see HZM becomes a SQZ for new investors. Take all forum posts with a pinch of salt (like mine) and keep things simple.

Investors (And i've been guilty of this also) feel an affinity to the stock they are holding and lose the ability to read and interpret RNS properly.

I'm just reading some of the LSE posts stan - like an alternate universe!

RNS states - "At this time, there can be no guarantee that a re-financing and re-structuring solution will lead to a positive outcome for existing shareholders and noteholders of the Company,"

If noteholders are now being mentioned in that vein it's probably more serious than any of us thought.
