At this time, there can be no guarantee that a re-financing and re-structuring solution will lead to a positive outcome for existing shareholders and noteholders of the Company, nor that senior lenders will continue to extend the waivers (including interest deferral) until a full funding solution is completed. Further updates will be provided in due course.

Wipe out ahead

i note you said earlier on lse that you would need to be a bafoon to know the share price wasnt going to fall and be diluted, yet you say you have held?

what are your expectations exactly? you are quick to criticise bears - who have incidentally called it correct from 70p...

you expect to be diluted to near zero or not?

Taken from LSE today, looks positive....

Having listened to this recent interview with Karim Nasr (interim CEO) it looks a nigh certainty that a solution will be found and equity will have significant value in due course. It was clear he knew about the cost overrun before this interview. (Comments start at 26 mins)

He states, ' the good news is in the case of Horizonte you have really large committed shareholders' comment from 27 mins 56 seconds

Talking about a 40 year mine life 'you bite the bullet and support the company' (28.20)

'We need to build the thing and then we have a pipeline (of production) that goes on for a very long time' (30.18)

'There will be a solution' (30.35)

I think one thing to bear in mind is that when the share price was 1.50 it already included a big risk premium that something would go wrong. If everything had gone to plan the share price would have been 10 quid. So there still might be value at 4p. Equally the minerals in the ground might be fantasy and only a fraction of what we believe them to be. Equally there could be a lot more in the ground. Anyway as I mention if there is a potential world nickel resource here some big company will step in.

Don't think what you are calling "stepping in" there will be at all easy for 10p.Why do you think that any of the cornerstones would possibly agree to that.Check out video with Karim Nasr kindly posted by Wasarunner on LSE

I would think a large miner will step in and buy the whole lot for 10p a share ie petty cash.
Spend 600m on getting the mine viable and then get back several billion in profits over the next ten years.

well those people have gone, so funding is THE problem which has all but wiped existing holders out, whether 3p accurately represents what the final funding arrangement and future will be (if any) we will see

Its not the raising of finance that's the problem, its the ineptitude of a company whose financial forecasts of costs have proved so massively wrong, as then it sends a message of incompetence.
