05/1/2024 23:38:19 | Thank you Stan, why would I get aggressive ? I don’t even know you and your comments and views don’t affect me. My two bob is worth about as much as your two bob, absolutely nothing it’s just a BB, some people (not me) have a meaning-full voice, ramping or de-ramping will have no long term effect on the share price. | twigs3
05/1/2024 19:41:32 | Stan kept on telling us HZM was going bust.
Bought at 9p and sold today at 18.1p
100% return in a few weeks

04/1/2024 23:33:41 | Horizonte is also pleased to announce that Araguaia Niquel Metais Ltda ("Araguaia Ltda"), a member of the Company's group has entered into a conditional ten year offtake agreement with Glencore (with the obligations of Araguaia Ltda being guaranteed by the Company), where Glencore has committed to acquire 100% of the production of ferronickel from Araguaia for that period ("Offtake Agreement"). The entry into the Offtake Agreement is a key requirement of the Lenders and significantly de-risks future cash flows from the Project. The Offtake Agreement is conditional upon, among other things, the completion of the Glencore Subscription and the entry by Glencore into a direct agreement with the Lenders in relation to typical intercreditor matters.
Glencore signed a B2B risk agreement with the senior lenders against the offtake. The offtake is at the moment only 10 years from a mine lifetime of initial 28 year mine life of the FS design. This can go into 30-40 years minelife.
This needs only an updated takeoff agreement for 15-20 years instead of 10 years and additional loan facilities will be easy provided.
He is no funding happening… the interim loan shows the direction. | infinity888
04/1/2024 23:21:48 | Why do people like Stan exist, sad world | twigs3
04/1/2024 22:44:14 | Strow - that’s a minor hurdle to overcome if O and LM and glen agree then in practice it’s pretty simple - O and LM will want to ensure that if they do pump in further equity their WACC needs to come down dramatically and hence my point about the equity more likely to be priced in the 7-8p range - that’s not negative it’s just a reality in equity financing ( and we’ve seen that twice before with hzm where equity had been placed lower than expectations, and this time there’s a lot more at stake and they hold the leverage) there’s no free lunch especially given that they’ve already been screwed over, but you must note that even if equity is priced in that region it won’t trade there , it should in theory rally torward a fairer EV. As said before I’ve been buying back in heavily the last few weeks as the picture becomes somewhat clearer. Atb | chopper89x
04/1/2024 22:07:55 | Buying it cheap would need support from all other majors. Yes Glencore bought recently 2 more assets. I am not sure how cheap the other majors would accept a buyout | infinity888
04/1/2024 22:02:03 | Infinity, glencore already have 100% off take agreement in place, I suppose in principle they could lend the money up front at very favourable interest rate, but they will still hold all the risk so why not just buy it cheap and go alone? | twigs3
04/1/2024 21:43:01 | I assume chopper from what you have said that you would be expecting an announcement proposing a share restructuring if you think that they will try and raise at less than the 20 p nominal ?Or do you think they would not need to announce that to the market if they were all in agreement with their majority ? | strow
04/1/2024 20:57:11 | I dont think any that any placing will come. Maximum Glencore increases slightly on top to a pre payment as a loan with good conditions as they are takeoff partners.
They did that model often, last time was confimed mid November
hxxps://smallcaps.com.au/galan-lithium-secures-offtake-financing-deal-glencore-hombre-muerto-west/
Galan Lithium (ASX: GLN) has signed an agreement with a subsidiary of global mining and trading company Glencore for the offtake of up to 100% of lithium chloride concentrate from Phase 1 production at the Hombre Muerto West project in Argentina.
Glencore has also offered to provide a secured financing pre-payment facility for up to $153 million to support funding of Phase 1.
Dilution will be zero in this case. Glencore make 10B usd net profit a year. 800-900M a month. For them adding 150-200M is nothing …
My best guess is pre payment via takeoff partner Glencore | infinity888

04/1/2024 13:43:52 | Good post Chopper and much what i was thinking when i posted yesterday.I've taken good profits out of HZM over the last ten years but my last act was to swallow a thumping loss and i have no current position and i'm (as yet) reluctant to join a frenzied mob of day traders and manipulative proprietary traders. The 20m dollars finance isn't more than a holding interim sum of course. It's the fact that two large equity holders (other than Glencore) seem committed to finding a solution that has triggered the price recovery. It's possible that there is no equity fund raise for private clients.La Mancha and Orion could potentially take a chunk of stock at around your suggested price, say 8p.The banks could supplement existing debt and hey presto, everything's back on the road.Yes,theres significant dilution but anything like a reasonable reflection of Araguaia's NPV could see a price around 30-40p is probably a fair guess. That'd be 1.5-2p in old pre-scrip money where HZM were around 5 years back when the market questioned whether finance of any description would be forthcoming. | steeplejack
04/1/2024 13:38:02 | Hi strow - I think highly unlikely- it’s expensive slow and hzm is dual listed so I wouldn’t get your hopes up | chopper89x
04/1/2024 13:27:43 | Sorry,that was to chopper | strow
04/1/2024 13:27:19 | Just a question From your "previous" knowledge was there any intention to let PIs in with a rights ? | strow
