HZM was hindered by the small print in the finance contract penned by themselves.

HZM was hindered with a couple of monumental world issues ie Covid and the Ukraine War which meant massive disruption and big increases in costs all round. The former could have been absorbed; Putin's madness in Ukraine was too insurmountable for a minnow miner without revenue like HZM.

Just not to be, I think. Notwithstanding, senior management could have been a lot more transparent and savvy eg contingency funds aplenty for unavoidable over-runs prior to production.

At some point in the near future this will run out of money. At that point, a deal will be done that leaves the assets in most likely Chinese hands. Right now the Chinese are overly dependent on Indonesia.

American Market will buy this just for kicks. Expect people to go long soon. Shorters will sell quickly. Hold on.

For HZM investors it doesn't matter who gets it. HZM holders will lose everything after contributing half a billion dollars.
Maybe someone will bid more?

This was a costly error. It's also an ongoing learning curve in "investing" in AIM companies.

This project will be revived, the question is by who? A new behemoth in a jv with existing senior lenders and major holders; retail investors whistling in the wind, sadly, once again.

But, I do hope the Brazilian government will come in for its people mainly those in the area of the project. This project is for the near future utilising newly constructed infrastructure and designed plan.

Gamblers and the rabid gerbils trying to cling on to hope by averaging down are the ones buying.

In order to keep the Licenses and keep the projects, it must be a going concern sale. In case of Administration, contracts gets Breached, licenses and Vermelho will be lost. Hence, shareholders might be happy with 1p and Creditors take a haircut on the debt. Suppliers will get something if the project is restarted.Nickel price heading North with the Russian Ban.
