Great article JB. Copper and lithium story very similar to Nickel in that demand driven by EV growth and under supply looming on top of the current stock piles in decline. All great news.

Interesting thought Twigs, I am unsure and would hope not as JM did recently state several times in a few interviews -fully funded through to construction financing. But if that is delayed due to market price of Nickel then it could be more likely later in the year perhaps.

I do think that something is on the cards though and trading is not just "the stock market" as Andrea has stated. All IMHO of course.

Just my opinion JB, will get shot down but also see a placing some time Q2 don’t believe they have paid of Glencore done all that work and paid everyone else and still have 7-8 mil in the bank when we raised 9.2mil maybe that’s why we are pegged at this price it’s happened before, not sure what strow thinks? he called it right last time.

If ppl do not see a finance deal until Nickel reaches 14k , then we could waiting how long ?The price is too volatile anyway , I think they will negotiate within the next 3 -6 months .. otherwise construction start would be delayed .. delays eat into cash ...

From another BB.

There has been an interesting pick up in the draw down of nickel from the LME. Since the 10th January to today 6,666 tones of nickel has left the LME. Total remaining now stands at 197,952 tonnes. What's even more remarkable is the amount of canceled warrants over the same period has only dropped by 1,500 tonnes. It doesn't look to me like this draw down is going to slow down.

I don’t see them doing a finance deal until nickel is back over 14k otherwise it could well effect the NPV if off take etc is done below 14k. Good to see continued LME draw down question is how low has it got to go until market takes notice? Would love to see low ball offer for company and get rejected just to show there is interest in company and to lift share price.

Copy that Wooster thanks - I do harbour my own little potential conspiracy theory as well in that the price is being nicely held down by an interested party. It's only a hunch.
But only time will tell.

craigie - unfortunately market for minnow miners is not normal and hasn't been for some time. Resources had a massive sell-off in the 3rd and 4th quarters last year. Selling may well be those who bought in at bottom and taking any profits they can get in these times, or others cutting losses expecting brexit and other global worries to hamper positivity.

Excellent early response to the news from the market, but again its disappointing to see the sell down. Pegged back again on good news....continues to not make sense of a normal market dynamic of share price appreciation on good news??
But in terms of overall position its a massive step forward.
Nickel ticking up again and stock levels look to be reflecting the draw-downs mentioned. Well positioned.

Wow JB that’s is a big chunk, I’m happy they waiting for nickel to move up,don’t want a bad deal after all this time and I’m sure it’s not going to long especially if we keep getting draw downs like that JB!

From other site Another hefty chunk of nickel going out the door at the LME today. 1,554 tonnes down leaving 199,542 tonnes. That's the lowest total in the exchange in over 5 and a half years.
