16/8/2018 12:23 | Just read the Q3 report. To me it just confirms the enormous amount of work that is involved in producing a comprehensive, construction ready FS. I'm particularly pleased that attention is being paid to reducing capex costs, given the increase in the cost of inputs for thermal coal and oil since the PFS was published. There are going to be comparatively worse figures than in the PFS on the opex side, but it's worth bearing in mind that this affects all producers equally. This is clearly a complex project involving many parties independent of HZM and the increase in the anticipated time lines is in my view less important than achieving a complete and comprehensive construction ready package. In part it's about expectations, if HZM had set a deadline of year end 2018 we would all be pleased it is ahead of schedule rather than frustrated by the repeatedly extended FS date. In hindsight the timelines were probably too optimistic. But it's not unusual is it for complex projects to overrun? I'm not discounting any of the concerns raised on this board but the FS needs to be of the highest standards to meet the criteria good quality institutions require to commit to investment decisions. Personally I'm reassured that the BoD seem to have kept to their plan and not succumbed to the temptation to compromise the FS to meet a deadline. | salmonn1

16/8/2018 10:03 | Whilst I was convinced that the price was being manipulated in advance of a low ball offer, I am now of the opinion that the recent price performance simply mirrors share price performance of miners in general. However, an asset of this importance can not remain at this value forever. When market sentiment turns positive, fully expect this to soar. | wooster4
16/8/2018 09:48 | Reads well. The market is currently mesmerised by the plummeting copper price which appears to suggest clouds on the global growth horizon. This might be why JM has concentrated attention on the seemingly excellent outlook for nickel. There's also market concerns about the impact upon emerging markets of the strong dollar.Perhaps Brazil isn't "emerging" but a strong dollar ,tariffs etc help to muddy the waters.Perhaps I'm trying to rationalise the curious share price behaviour.I'm beginning to wonder whether the FS in a couple of months will be greeted with a strongly positive share price. | steeplejack

15/8/2018 15:46 | Global growth in coming years will decide where commodities go now These trade wars could impact growth , and then all bets for high commodity prices will be off All about timing now ... it could go either way.. the one thing that may save Nickel , copper etc is the EV expected growth . A lot of fear and bearish sentiment , I hope it stabilizes and turns around | jailbird
15/8/2018 09:35 | Surely as Nickel price drops it just acts as an incentive for those needing nickel (sure some will stock pile) and so add to the reduction of stockpile/future deficit. Longer term good news as far as I can see. Just a waiting game now. Have enough shares for me, so will not be adding just yet (famous last words). Good luck all holders. | uapatel
15/8/2018 09:20 | Indeed, assuming PON recovers and/or the $ weakens. | sleveen
15/8/2018 09:20 | That would be a great buying opportunity | charles clore
15/8/2018 09:18 | If the price of Nickel falls further we may see a test of the 3.5p March low. | sleveen |
