06/8/2018 02:05 | An interesting month or so lies ahead for sure! | craigieboy1
05/8/2018 23:18 | Gentlemen It is commonly known that debt to equity ratio for such a project is usually 30% equity to 70% debt. The equity ratio can be reduced by off-take funding and/or some form of equipment leasing. My view is the company will try to reduce the equity element as much as possible. Given the low market value I think it would be a dereliction of duty if the company issues stock at current levels, I remain convinced a takeover approach will come, possibly this month. | thecoyone
05/8/2018 14:57 | Steeple, I am thinking more and more this what exactly is happening..equity part will be at 4p Top of their head anyone remember how much is needed to raise fund construction wonder what ratio will be off-take:debt:equity ? | jailbird
04/8/2018 12:05 | Looking back to January when Vermelhio was announced along with the fund raising for that deal the share price fell quite sharply in the lead up to that announcement, then rebounded sharply. These deals are typically arranged around the average share price for a set period. This could be 30 or 60 day average etc. This is an incentive for large holders and ongoing supporters to reduce the share price in advance to ensure a lower in price and hence more shares, ultimately the PI stake is then diluted. But in the end it's maybe better than borrowing?? | craigieboy1
03/8/2018 17:19 | Bertie Virtually every stock I've predicted needing a placing has had one. VOG still awaited. | sleveen
03/8/2018 17:06 | Project finance at 1-2-1 2018, worth watching if your interested in how and what sort of projects the banks look for. | twigs3
03/8/2018 17:06 | Yes,I think you're probably right.I reckon there's a lot of financing stuff going on in the background, ebbing and flowing, that we don't have full knowledge of but that doesn't mean it's not leaking out and affecting the price. | steeplejack
03/8/2018 16:11 | to be construction ready by year end they must have had to have raised equity finance by then and im still wondering whether all this weird trading pattern has some thing to do with it | strow
03/8/2018 14:21 | Oh I see,it’s you sleveen!Punter P.I.s moving like a murder of starlings to secure trading profits and against all historical evidence making a tidy profit on a regular basis..But in a thin market like this, there’s more than a real likelihood that they’ll ,at the very least,be a loser for every winner.I guess we won’t be hearing from those who bought stock in the low 4s. There’s market manipulation if only to catch the punters “offside” Let me just add what I mean by market manipulation. On the simplest level its the sort of thing unit trust managers might do when the market is crashing and they fear a wave of redemptions, theyR | steeplejack
03/8/2018 13:57 | I bought 2 lots, 80k + 50k =130k. Pure coincidence. | sleveen
03/8/2018 13:47 | sleveen - 130k? | charles clore
03/8/2018 13:47 | PI's have not been trading 5m a day for six months solid in odd lot numbers not to mention what must now be a large multiple of 130k's. | mustbefunny
03/8/2018 13:36 | There is no big seller There is no market manipulation. It's PI's trading. End of. I sold @ 4.3p and re-bought on today's spike down. Look at all the buys @ 3.84p all doing the same. | sleveen
03/8/2018 13:28 | Yes it's a long and risk ridden game with AIM minors steeplejack. Similar strategy for me over the years. Research research research and wait seems to be the game. Likewise this is my only exception. HZM seems well placed. Interesting bounce today but anyhow I stick with my long term view and see what happens. As always looking back from the future will provide the answers as to whether we got it right. | craigieboy1
03/8/2018 10:54 | Yes to an extent HZM will be tied to nickel and over the last couple of months, there does appear to be a rough correlation.Yet,I think it's more than that "rational" explanation. There's some little "sprite"manipulating the share price. The other BB (on LSE) is equally bemused, drawing attention to the 130/- trades and peculiarly trading pattern. It's all very well thinking it'll be alright on the night but frankly these shenanigans are very off putting.I'd rather have a sizeable holding in an alpha, beta stock with good steady long term prospects than have my attention constantly drawn to an erratic AIM company.I reckon this is an excellent and relatively well managed junior explorer but unfortunately it's in an arena that has played host to such abject failures as Herencia,Patagonia Gold etc.I'm sure you all have your favourites! | steeplejack
03/8/2018 10:45 | Amazing action but I am sticking to the company fundamentals, been here before with many stocks when unknown market forces drive a share price down. There is no negative news to create this dip in fact it's the opposite on the news flow, it's only created by large selling of stock that is currently unexplained. Anyone not prepared for such things should be inevestiñg somewhere else. HZM has excellent market position, great assets, timing looks good. Imho. I recall last fundraising was 3.5p, that should be the floor. I could be wrong but wasn't there a similar drop in price pre acquisition of Vermelhio in January? | craigieboy1
03/8/2018 10:32 | If i were a spread betting fan (which i am not!) I would be inclined to go long on nickel- looks ready for a strong bounce if you believe the trade war fears recede. | cgequityinvest
03/8/2018 10:28 | Looking at the nickel spot chart over the last six months there appears to be some correlation with HZM price - - Nickel is off 6% over last 2/3 days which matches share price. Anybody able to overlay the two graphs? I tried but failed. I suspect we are at least somewhat tied to the nickel price given the gearing impact on the FS. | cgequityinvest
03/8/2018 10:22 | Bouncing up but there is that 130k sell again !!! Trying to keep it down | jailbird
03/8/2018 10:07 | This is being manipulated pure and simple. Its a thin market and I suspect some prop book or sizeable holder of stock (perhaps it has been loaned)is trading this stock, all the easier for being listed on the hopelessly unregulated AIM market.Anyway,it's down to hitting chart lows and we'll now see whether it turns (as it should)or breaks down further which would suggest there's something more serious behind this weakness. | steeplejack |
