What a turnaround for nickel! Let's hope it holds 13k or more for financing although I think we will be taken out after BFS

Most of their exports went to Chinese pig iron production I believe, not much use in EVs.

Nickel rocketed to a two-year high in London and climbed by the daily limit in Shanghai, as investors bet on a long-term boost to demand from the rise of electric cars.Prices advanced as much as 3.9 percent to $12,780 a metric ton on the London Metal Exchange, the highest since June 2015, before trading at $12,705 a ton by 2:40 p.m. in Singapore. That adds to a 5.3 percent gain on Tuesday, after Trafigura Group Pte joined Glencore Plc in unveiling bullish usage forecasts. The metal was up 4.3 percent in Shanghai.

LONDON--Glencore PLC (GLEN.LN) has agreed to sell its Araguaia nickel project in Brazil to Horizonte Minerals PLC (HZM.LN) for $8 million as part of its plan to sell non-core assets to pay down debt.
Horizonte said it would pay $2 million upfront through the issue of Horizonte Mineral shares to the Swiss commodities trader and producer.
Horizonte is already developing its own high-grade nickel project in the Araguaia district of the Para state of north central Brazil. This transaction will enlarge the project buy incorporating Glencore's nickel operations in the district as well.
"The combination of the two projects will produce one of the largest undeveloped saprolite nickel resources globally," said Horizonte Chief Executive Jeremy Martin.
"The Enlarged Project is ideally placed in the commodity cycle to be advanced with the aim of commencing production within the next five years when the supply-demand fundamentals for nickel are expected," he added.
Horizonte said it has raised 1.55 million pounds ($2.10 million) through the placement of new shares, with existing cornerstone shareholders to be used to develop the enlarged Araguaia project.
