Good to have you in soundbuy-we can all enjoy the roller coaster that is Hzm together.
This is one of the most solid and amazing investment opportunities I have come across with virtually everything in place bar current price of its commodity currently, but it is not just fancy that over the next 10 years the nickel price will have to recover to meet world demand and therein lies the massive opportunity with Hzm for those with the guts and the stamina to be very happy indeed with their choice 🍾

Well, been an active board since I last visited (when I paid around 8p if my memory serves me right and that was to bring down my average), some well-informed comment, congrats to all.

Well, spent about £1650, the smallest purchase I've ever made here in monetary terms and got a wadge of 83K (ish). Been watching from the sidelines to purchase a few more, aiming at bringing my break-even to around 10p. Still a way to go but with news due reckoned I'd choose today to start. Was going to go all in for about £5K ish today to get me closer to where I want to be but caution got the better of me (plus really don't enjoy companies taking to twitter......arghhhh)

Wait for it though Ratmund..odds on all the short termers in this will look at the pfs and go uhhh I didn't realise it wasn't quite as profitable as I was hoping at current nickel price and sell up.
This one really needs investors who are relatively experienced in mining and commodity cycles(and basic maths),otherwise it won't mean a lot to them 😊

Some accumulated dividends in ISA enabled me to add again today at 1.95p, this will surely look to be a bargain once revised PFS comes out; can't be too much longer to wait now and improved Ni price will help the case.

Trader Tim suggested there's potential here in the penny stock post today. One to watch... Gradually waking up to the opportunity here. http://tradertim.co.uk/4th-aug-trader-tims-penny-stock-post-hzm-ars-mtr-jpr-sav-hnl/

A big question for me is:
With so much mineral ore in the ground is it possible to mine and sell the ore to generate some revenue and profits without processing for nickel. The production facility requires investment in capital and cash is very hard to come by without selling your soul to the PE guys, or streaming deals.

Any cash generated in this way can then be invested in the production facility and the project then become self funding.

I am not a miner and do not know the complexities of just selling the ore.
I am assuming the mineralisation of the ore similar to Vale and Anglo American production facilities.

Thinking aloud, is it feasible that HZM might conclude an offtake deal after the PFS but before the DFS is underway, so that the inevitable placing could be done at a higher sp, reducing dilution further?

OK. I can accept the need for a placing of say, £4-£5mn, with some offtake deal being part of the arrangement, or maybe ahead of the placing, but please not at such a huge discount to prevailing share price as happened the last time (33% to the LOWEST sp).

$8 to $10m divmad, but hoping they will pull one out of the bag again with mix of off-take/royalty/equity.
We know they can do this and in my view there is likely to be interest at the right price for these deals,so I think we are more likely to forgo a little later, than have more share dilution now-at least that's what I believe should be the basis that the team are working on now.

I believe JM said thee costs for the DFS were $8m , yes dollars, so we can infer a range of $8 to $10. As well the DFS, there is a requirement to fund the overheads of JM and his team.

What range of cost to complete the DFS are we talking about?

Pre GAP, the project had a NPV of £519m. Hence post GAP,fixed cost will be spread across more nickel volume and hence unit cost will come down. Even at lower revenues per tonne this project can have a new NPV in excess of £1 billion.
That is what the PFS has to show and the fact it is profitable even at the lowest nickel prices.

JM has repeatedly said he is "mindful" of the issue of dilution for existing shareholders. Having attended three AGMs,an EGM and met the board my feeling is that they mean it and as others have said the asset has been grown (i.e. doubled). So far HZM seems to have got it right.

It is not really a dilution. The additional shares are payment for the additional asset. GAP had more nickel that that of Horizonte and GAP also had Measured resource which removes more risk from the project.
The low share price is a reflection of the global excess stocks and weaker demand sentiment from China.

I can see that some people are not going to be happy with the above dilution, but it is what it is and the asset creating our extremely attractive tier 1 nickel project is complete.
More dilution possible ahead now for the bfs raise, but remember at least 80% of current projects out there will have costs higher than ours.
Also takes out one possible market seller of glencore trying to keep the price as low as possible in order to get as many shares out of this transaction as they could. Not JMs fault and nothing more to be gained now if that was actually happening.

Just hoping pfs gives us an idea of the npv at current "RE-AL" valuation, otherwise it
Will not give a fair idea of valuation if everything stays the same.It is quite likely that the nickel price would be a lot higher if the emerging market countries were not as devalued and recovering.

Anglo American CEO on Bloomberg am.
Nickel they have reduced costs, & noted that many mines world wide are still well below break even.

Eventually these shut downs will have to feed through to lower inventories It all depends on how long these suspensions will be if not permanent There could be more to come yet.
