12/8/2016 08:59 | Unfortunately Henderson own Darwin which provide 'death spiral' finance for AIM companies. HZM do have access to this I really hope they don't use it. | neilweymouth
12/8/2016 08:40 | Henderson, out of their £2.2m current holding they have sold £60K. This is not material at this level and strange to be selling at this stage of the project lifecycle. | jedi k
12/8/2016 08:08 | probably selling at 2p to enter the bfs fundraise at possibly less than this-all sorts of possible reasons including their corporate limits for their holding may have been reduced-who knows. For me its good as if they were selling the lot we wouldnt have had this announcement until it was all gone. Also more clarity as to what has been going on recently. I see Richard Griffiths as less predictable in this sense-I was more worried it was him. | strow
12/8/2016 07:43 | Well that's not good news, how many will they sell? Share price will never move! | twigs3
12/8/2016 07:11 | At least the reporting still works as it should and eliminates conspiracy theories | strow
12/8/2016 06:51 | Reducing but still holding 15% + | jailbird
11/8/2016 21:52 | Henderson selling? | twigs3
11/8/2016 16:54 | Divmad,I have averaged down whenever I have had opportunity to do so! | raymund
11/8/2016 15:17 | yes Twigs3 the share price is disappointing and no one can be certain why, if they could they would be making a fortune spread betting! But, there are a lot of unknowns, China?, future sources of supply?, Ni price and stocks, world growth rates, financing and many others. And views from some industry analysts that there are no new nickel laterite mines likely to be developed in the immediate future. All of the above if interpreted in a positive light would raise HZM's share price or in the negative keep it depressed. If you take the view that markets only have either one of two motivations, things could move very quickly if they change from fear to greed. May be the new PFS will do it this time, especially if the capex can be brought down a substantial amount. | salmonn1
11/8/2016 13:54 | Raymund, I have admire your sang froid in the light of suffering such a huge % drop in paper values here. Without averaging down, how come you remain comfortable with a 6.25p average? Why don't you average down? | divmad
11/8/2016 13:35 | I think we can only hope for this to go viral as AMC did some time back, as everyone else is I'm sure, very disappointed with the share price and find it hard to understand why we are only valued at £14 m, I'm sure JM has a good marketing campaign ready for PFS but in the past they just don't seem to make a difference, As we know the next phase is to raise money for BFS now if this is done with shares we are going to be seriously diluted down at this price. I know JM expected the share price to be about 10p by the end of year but at this rate that target is not looking likely, unless it does go viral. On a positive note another nickel mine has been shut down. hxxp://www.philstar. | twigs3
11/8/2016 10:51 | Salmonn1, Very interested to hear your YouTube analysis view and certainly reassures! Ni has picked up considerably from the early year extreme lows and trust the trend will feed into market view on PFS when it comes in. Regarding my approach to SHARES, had this back at end of October: "I had a long chat with Jeremy Martin at the time of the Glencore announcement. We had planned to run a detailed article but Glencore's own activities and rapidly falling share price meant we had to drop most of the coverage on Horizonte at the last minute as we were tight on space in the magazine. I can't say when we will next write on the stock (HZM), as we aren't allowed to disclose this information due to compliance reasons, but it does remain on my radar. Dan Coatsworth, Editor." After SHARES fairly frequent reportage on HZM in past, surely the PFS will be picked up on their 'radar' and wake them up again to the considerable opportunity for their readers to benefit here! Nothing to stop others on this thread asking when they can expect to hear an updated view from SHARES! Having made my initial investments earlier than you at higher price, my average price is now 6.25p, still 3x current price but one that I am comfortable with! | raymund
10/8/2016 23:22 | Raymund, good to see you are getting your average price down, mine is at about 4.5p. I read Investors Chronicle and have only once seen them mention HZM in passing. HZM came to my attention via a SHARES mining sector report placed on the Hargreaves Lansdown site circa 2013/14. I find it interesting that the interviews with JM on YouTube get around 50 to 150 views. If accurate this means in reality no significant number of people are picking up on HZM. I tend to find this reassuring if more were aware of the company and the price was still this low I would be more concerned. Eventually the company will get noticed and things might move pretty quickly if it went viral. But when that might be is anyone's guess. Up until now nothing has raised the profile of the company, even in my view, the most significant piece of news, the Glencore deal, went largely unnoticed. Still as each stage in HZM's development towards a mine is put into place, and if the Ni price goes up and the LME stock goes down the likelihood of market recognition improves. | salmonn1
10/8/2016 20:57 | salmon1, I agree that keeping to milestones has always been achieved except for fully justifiable reasons which invariably related to matters resulting in increase in shareholder value such as latest addition from Glencore. Admittedly, we have had to accept a lot of dilution with the necessary fund raises. From my initial purchase in 2016; production target has probably shifted about 2 to 3 years from production targetted for 2016, now! In latest two RNSs, JM has committed to Q3 for revised PFS, ie within next 6 weeks or so. Already, activity in volume is starting to indicate some anticipation and I am pleased to have made my latest addition at 1.95p. One thing I find hard to understand is lack of any recent coverage within SHARES (you and I first met on one of their presentation evenings). They covered HZM often in the past with BUY recs. I have written to editor and response is that they keep them under review but wait to see how they report (which they must surely) PFS when published. | raymund
07/8/2016 21:07 | There seems to be a bit of slippage with most of HZM's milestones, but always for understandable reasons. Where they have a good track record is dealing with those issues that they can control. I remember at the 2015 AGM we were told that they were holding back in the licensing because fees become payable at the time they are granted. And they were delaying the PFS was because it would become stale in the then current market conditions. I would say the BFS will be commissioned as strow says once funding is in place, the consultants are probably in place already, i.e. the same people who have done the previous work. But when the BFS is issued may depend on other things than just when it has been completed. What HZM have shown from the start is an urgency to get to the goal of a working mine in difficult conditions. | salmonn1
07/8/2016 14:19 | Clearly need fundraising for it first and appointment of consultant, then probably a year from there. My guess is complete by end of next year. | strow
07/8/2016 13:35 | I be honest I am not sure on the timescale of BFS completion. Is there are target date or timescale on how long BFS will take? | jailbird
07/8/2016 11:49 | I think in a years time BFS will be almost complete and Nickel at lower end of your range, but will be pleased if it is higher.Agree will be very interesting-the serious story for Horizonte is just getting started now,but it is getting serious in terms of pricing outlook and what is possible which is good :-). Longer term Cuba may come into play also if Hilary Clinton gets in,so what will matter there is the incentive price for further construction and production. | strow
07/8/2016 10:46 | Strow, I think the next 6-12 months will be very interesting here. Nickel around 12000-15000 BFS completed | jailbird
07/8/2016 08:39 | This is just what nickel needs | strow
06/8/2016 05:43 | Any of us could cease to be, today,tomorrow...so I guess we all have to make what we think are the correct investment decisions in the here and now. I have mailed JM re his thoughts about funding options for the bfs | strow
05/8/2016 23:21 | Give it 18 months we should all be happy-this IS a world class nickel resource | strow
05/8/2016 20:06 | strow, definitely here for the end game although have traded once or twice to help bring my average cost down to below 7p now. Bought too many around 16p but have added whenever possible recently! First went in 2010 so saw the shoot-up to 30p and then down to where we are now. In 2010, production envisaged for 2016 (now, when I planned to be out!) but so much has changed since to increase value of our resource. Then, it was a gold explorer which ventured into Ni and struck the Teck deal. All the Au JVs came to nought after which HZM became a single-project company. I accept that more patience is required but at nearly 76 my time-frame sadly doesn't extend as long as yours, strow! SoundBuy, looks as if you also got in today at 1.95p, a bargain and good to see a little more blue. If you take the long view, I am sure that further additions at current prices to further reduce your average will serve you well. | raymund
05/8/2016 18:22 | Good to have you in soundbuy-we can all enjoy the roller coaster that is Hzm together. This is one of the most solid and amazing investment opportunities I have come across with virtually everything in place bar current price of its commodity currently, but it is not just fancy that over the next 10 years the nickel price will have to recover to meet world demand and therein lies the massive opportunity with Hzm for those with the guts and the stamina to be very happy indeed with their choice 🍾 | strow |
