We are in the final stages of completing the new combined Pre-Feasibility Study which is due for release in Q3 2016. It is also positive to see an improvement in the nickel price during the last quarter, and I believe this is well aligned with the development milestones set for Araguaia as we move towards the Feasibility Study

We would have doing the BFS now But the glencore acquisition has put the back by 6 months I imagine Cannot complain as it made the whole asset into a Tier1 mine

Amazing coincidence, just looked at HZM Twitter feed, they say forecast nickel price for 2019 $16k/t. Think that answers question.

On the economics of the project, the previous PFS assumed a nickel price of $19k per tonne, will this need be amended down to a lower price in the new study?

Reading about the BFS study.

Interesting thing is about the economics of the life of the mine(LOM).
I.e is the mne profitable not just during the peaks and trouhs of Nickel Prices. We have already been told it is eoconomical even at the low end of the cost curve.

With regards to the Nickel price,I hope it does not ahead of itself, speculators also driving this.Close above $10000 is a good point to move up over next 6-12 months Obviously the Philippines situation is adding to the fear that supply be may unexpectedly disrupted if mines are closed down. But I just feel it is little too early to say how much this will impact yet.

Salmonn1One must not forget this is a tier 1 world class asset project , which will be one the lowest cost miners of Nickel.Just like to know what target prices/market cap will be forecast once we get the PFS and then the BFS.Will it then be taken over by one of the major players ?

I agree with strow where he says "they have not let us down with their deal making yet". JM in interview has said they always try to have more than one option for financing each stage of the project and he also has said on several occasions, including at AGMs that he is mindful of dilution for existing shareholders. On the current track record that implies some further dilution but offset by growing the asset. I hope we are protected to some extent, as jailbird says, by large shareholders.

Yes gree. I am not worried at all about BFS financing. More than one or combined option available at the BFS stage.
Financing BFS is a normal process/ Many need financing at this stage, since institution are willing to give money in small chunks because of risks. BFS is the last piece of the puzzle before commercialisation, and much of the project is already de-risked by then. Licence and PFS will be delivered.

Just remember who the major shareholers are here. I am sure they will have a part to play yet.

Remember the Anglo-pacific royalty deal though Twigs-that was for $10m for a 1%
Smelter royalty.The nickel price is lower now than then,but the project is masses bigger and better and significantly de-risked.There will be dilution,but I am not
Quite as negative as you are Twigs.An off-take deal is also possible.
They have not let us down with their deal making yet and you have to remember that
Even if the deal was not as good as we hope,the added value way outweighs it at the end of the day with the value of the project potentially doubling post bfs 😀E

Yes $15000 plus easily achievable by 2018, however I feel we are a year ahead of our selves, although we have pick up glencore for almost nothing which does offset a bit of dilution,I am concerned about the dilution coming to finance the BFS. Just would have thought we would be a least 5p by now. Don't think we will get PFS until holidays are over.

There is an incentive price going fowards that no new projects will be
Developed below,unless you are the Chinese government bankrolling new developments
In Indonesia which are also likely to have a limit placed on them-the
Question is,what will that price be ? Highly unlikely to be lower than $13,000 per
Tonne imv-great for our project.If $15000 becomes a reality,amazing for Horizonte

Good point actually. I thought it might mean the imminent release of the PFS. But thinking about it, some information is price sensitive so it should be released through the proper channels. Not helpful.
