24/1/2005 21:19 | Why pull back. The management know what they are doing and its going places now. Like I said hold on tight. Still a lot more to come. | ![]() hvs

24/1/2005 13:41 | It did this a couple of weeks back - shot up by roughly the same amount. At that time some-one on iii claimed it had been tipped by a well respected tipster then promptly disappeared when asked by another reader who the tipster was. Maybe it's just undergoing a long overdue re-rating. | susier
24/1/2005 13:38 | This looks as though it has been tipped. Any info anyone? | ![]() langland

16/1/2005 16:43 | I was in at 110p and bailed at sub 100p so i know what you mean - and then kind of forgot about them ! Well done those with better timing than I ! Still timed PKW better :-) | ![]() felix99
16/1/2005 15:02 | This company was largely overlooked throughout 2004 for some reason. I came across them through Robbie Burns. He wrote a column for ADVFN on "teaser" shares only recently. I feel for Robbie as he identified Hill & Smith, but timing hasn't been on his side and I think he lost money on them. Robbie saw the potential, but the market is only just waking up to them. Recently there has been a whole host of very positive press coverage. It seems that at last they've been recognised, and hopefully that will feed across to the share price. | susier
16/1/2005 14:09 | Some one on "Working Lunch" tipped them. | pallett
15/1/2005 13:54 | Very nice article in the FT today. You just cant go wrong with this very well run company. | ![]() hvs
13/1/2005 09:34 | MM's wanting to kill trade now, hardly sold any at 125 and 124p to reduce the bid. | ![]() wipo1
11/1/2005 16:02 | Seemed to struggle to get a higher asking price of 130p despite a lot of buying interest yesterday, usual market maker games, will go to 150-160p eventually I think. Anyone know where it was tipped or have the article on it? Cheers | ![]() wipo1
10/1/2005 15:29 | Toriel - the 320k share sell went through after my original note so I'm inclined to agree with you about the likelihood of a bid. I have, however noticed several X trades go through today. Arbuthnot have put notes out recently saying the shares are significantly undervalued, and none of them have had this type of effect. There must be some sort of rumour to have started this off. It came out of the blue just after lunch. | susier
10/1/2005 15:27 | Somebody on the iii website is attributing the rise to a tipsheet report. Must be a pretty positive report, but that does seem a more likely explanation for the rise and the significant number of comparatively modest-sized trades than a possible bid. | toriel
10/1/2005 15:16 | A takeover bid is of course possible, and having bought into this share only recently I'll be happy to take a (slightly fortunate) healthy profit. However, one has to wonder about a bid. A chunk of 320,000 shares has gone through the market at way below the current prices. If I had that number of shares to sell and I thought a bid might be on the way, I certainly wouldn't want to drop them into the market just now. What I find interesting is not the volume of shares traded, but the number of separate trades. This is indeed well above the norm and it's hard to imagine it's just a fluke. A bid seems to me to be a bit unlikely - maybe some broker has come out with a very strong recommendation, though as susier points out tip sheet or broker recommendations do not usually lead to such a pronounced reaction. Perhaps the company has just won a significant new contract? Something is afoot, but it may not be anything as exciting as a bid. I'd be interesting to hear from anyone who has something more definite to report. | toriel
10/1/2005 14:42 | Its on fire now and like I said you can't keep a good management down. Bid or no bid , the company is still undervalued. | ![]() hvs |
