05/11/2004 15:26 | Looks like the long awaited re-rating is about to happen. Will hit £ 1.50 in no time at all. | hvs
05/11/2004 14:42 | Yeah undervalued shares will come good in the end, I have been very patient with this one, so sticking with it. Compare the valuation to MCHL, looks very cheap? | wipo1
05/11/2004 08:13 | Have bought for my ISA this morning after reading the following article in Patrick Lay's Small Company column yesterday evening (Daily Mail). Quote "Analysts at Arbuthnot Latham have had their buying boots on this week with recommendations for galvanised products group, Hill & Smith, whose cherry picking of assets from the administrative receiver of Lionweld Kennedy are expected to provicde a "pretty rapid payback". Michael Blogg says the shares are "significantly undervalued at £1.05p" Unquote These shares were believed to be undervalued before, they are now seen as "significantly undervalued". Hopefully this should bring about a decent rise in the near future. | susier
04/11/2004 20:57 | Apparently Arbuthnot have rated Hill & Smith as undervalued. | susier
14/9/2004 08:12 | Excellent results, and a nice share price increase to go with it | tykeno1
23/7/2004 08:33 | Strange this one, seems to have followed a similar pattern to a the last time goes up near the 106-107p area, then heads back down to near 100p. Could have just been hit with the market in general. Suppose it went up on no real newsflow? | wipo1
14/7/2004 12:38 | Yeah level 2 now 4 vs 4 | wipo1
14/7/2004 11:44 | Going up nicely now. | hvs
13/7/2004 16:08 | Hi wipo, 110p is a resistance point , but with new momentum think it will be breached this time. Love this little gem , good cash flow , good divi and good growth prospects with very good management. Think a RERATING is well OVER DUE | hvs
09/7/2004 19:40 | Hi HVS, I am still holding, I topped up a while back for 103p. 110p seems a strong resistance, but seems on a upward trend again, so might have another go at that level in the next two weeks Have a good weekend | wipo1
09/7/2004 17:28 | Hi Wipo, Trust you are still in. Doing well now. | hvs
05/5/2004 09:20 | Nice tick up today, everyone still in ? | wipo1

26/4/2004 16:41 | Looks like sods law has kicked in - hope nobody paniced! Can't really see any reason to sell. | wipo1
24/4/2004 11:24 | Yeah, it can be a bad thing swapping in and out stocks in current market conditions. Looks like it best to let winners run and be patient with the undervalued non-movers.I am happy to hold Hils and pick up dividends, quite easy to swap into another stock and then that goes down and hils goes up. Sods law! I suppose Robbie in a different position, he has a big cushion and losing a couple of hundred quid here and there does not bother him. | wipo1
23/4/2004 19:17 | He also sold RTD at 18.5p --- and look where it is now!!! | ddav
23/4/2004 15:15 | Yeah saw Robbie is out, don't think it matters much as he is more short term and sold the last time then the price went up. | wipo1
23/4/2004 14:47 | robbie is out | georgethefourth
23/4/2004 14:44 | Hi pricemilne5, Yeah that would be great, although I am very good value minded and occasionaly have a punt on some riskier stocks - with small amounts! HILS still a bit flat, I am still patient - maybe interest rate rises on the cards are holding things back. | wipo1
08/4/2004 17:32 | well wip01, at last the AGM announcement. Lets hope we see a steady appreciation in value, before we all hear some good news. After all, we know it's in there somewhere it's just that we need other investors to hear it. I read an article about HILS some months ago, relating to the fact that they had landed the biggest contract ever for a type of raoad safety barrier they produce. Great news! that only made it as far as their local rag. Personally they either do a lousy PR job or they simply want to keep the good news until the AGM? Took a look at some of those stocks.....all a bit defensive for me, however i will consider some more when all my punts come to fruition. If you want i can post some rather interesting penny shares for you! | pricemilne5
05/4/2004 09:21 | Pricemilne5, Yes I do look at Robbie Burns site, I don't copy his trades and just use his site for ideas. I mostly go for good value stocks and defensives - GLB,FFY,VP-,DVO,MCA, All stocks have had a good run but still look good value, always best to DYOR and make your decisions. All the best | wipo1
04/4/2004 23:41 | WIPO1 What with both HILS and MCHL in your portfolio, you sound like a Robbie Burns follower to me! Are there any others you wish to share with me? Is COST on your monitor too? If so what's your apraisal there? | pricemilne5
02/4/2004 16:09 | Hi Pricelime5, Its seems Market makers are marking down some small cap stock for no apparent reason. It should come good in the end and looks much better value than the likes of MCHL. have a good weekend. | wipo1
02/4/2004 13:37 | Hi Wipo1, How much of this recent selling would you put down to people cashing in for CGT? Personally i think this is a classic small caps growth share, with many small time holders. Threfore it's coming under a bit of pressure from some "spring cleaning". | pricemilne5
30/3/2004 14:13 | HI pricemilne5, NMS is very small, buyers dry up and MM's quick to mark price down. Usual antics from market makers. Although still seems to be a few sellers around wanting out! | wipo1 |
