10/3/2006 13:30 | > karldinnel - 10 Mar'06 - 13:00 - 414 of 415 Apologies karldinnel, Best Regards John | jpalmer25
10/3/2006 13:30 | Babysitter. I would like to postulate that you are correct and there might be a predator circling but do not underestimate the influence of director/directors wifes purchases. This news alone shows confidence in the share price prospects and some people will be influenced by this and may well buy in. I think there was an article in investors chronicle last year which suggested this is something that some investors look for when investing. Either way and again I stress this is my personal opinion only, the fundamentals are sound but I will not be trying to second guess this shares movement as I am sitting on these shares and looking forward to receiving my dividends. | chrismic
10/3/2006 13:19 | Well done everyone for holding. Personally, didn't like the uncertainty in the outlook, so sold out yesterday. Nevermind. I'm sure I'll be back for more in this one. | peab1
10/3/2006 13:00 | jpalmer. No need to be so sensitive. I didn't mean you. | karldinnel
10/3/2006 13:00 | i have been saying for the last few weeks that there is a buyer around. todays push and volume can not be prescribed to the impact of the director spuse investment. there is something afoot! | babysitter
10/3/2006 12:38 | Agreed karldinnel if we stay above 80p come ex-divi day then I'm a happy man! | noiseboy
10/3/2006 12:35 | Chris. I concur. I've no time for some of the rampers on this board and I certainly don't expect the shares to go much higher (particularly when I saw the management's comments the other day). But, having got in originally at 44p, I too am pleased to hold on for the divi payouts. | karldinnel
10/3/2006 12:32 | O.K. Let's speculate. Are we up to a takeover bid or something ??? Someone is scooping the shares whatsover the cost ... Any ideas ? John | jpalmer25
10/3/2006 12:31 | It hit 85p ... and volume is high at nearly 2m already, when average is under 1m. | gorse
10/3/2006 12:26 | I have been really impressed with these shares bought in at 46p many moons ago. Now they are sitting at 84 and the fundamentals are all positive as far as I'm concerned. If you bought in at similar levels then I am of the opinion you can stand a bit of downward fluctuation whilst you offset a small capital decrease with a big fat divi. Thank you very much. You can probably gather I'm in for the long term until such time as the divi doesn't have significant cover. Good board by the way. Good luck all and don't listen to too many opinions dyor. | chrismic
10/3/2006 12:22 | Well, well - 84p. Definitely a new high. | gorse
10/3/2006 12:14 | nor me... definitely manipulated on results day i feel | noiseboy
10/3/2006 12:04 | I didn't bottle it either. | karldinnel
10/3/2006 11:36 | glad i didn't bottle it yesterday...... somethings got to be good if a directors wife is buying 100k shares... | rob1914
10/3/2006 11:26 | I wish I knew.... a big 373k sell and the price is moving up. So glad I didn't sell on results day... are we now up to the highest share price this share has ever been? | eipgam
10/3/2006 11:21 | Hello, hello, hello. What's going on here? | gorse
09/3/2006 17:06 | With a historic pe of >9 (at 80p) and a high yield I think these are good value. OK the outlook was very caustious, but it is too early to make any meaningful forecasts in such a tough market with low barriers of entry. My problem is finding a better investment with the current high valuations. If HWY manage to just maintain their current profit level the shares are cheap. Most shares now price in fairly high growth rates that in many case will fail to materialise. | scbscb
09/3/2006 16:44 | she must have bought off rivaldo and smarm ;-) | babysitter
09/3/2006 16:43 | When robbie sells, give it a couple of hours till most of the lemmings clear out and, then, buy. | gorse
09/3/2006 16:35 | imho robbie seems to make a lot of mistakes appears to sell too quickly once the share price starts dropping... | harvey_b
09/3/2006 16:24 | This is looking more and more interesting each day, someone been busy buying up these sold off shares? I see robbie of frequenttrader sold up yesterday as well, me thinks that this was a mistake ! | singing the blues
09/3/2006 16:16 | Well shes 2 grand better off already! | noiseboy
09/3/2006 16:15 | > jpalmer25 - 8 Mar'06 - 11:00 - 340 of 392 > Well, whoever had a spare cash that missed a golden oppurtinity to buy @73.5p today. > Unfortunately we will not see it again in short term ... I hate to say "I've told you so ..." John | jpalmer25 |
