16/1/2006 17:03 | That is optimistic Facts..why? | gswredland
16/1/2006 16:34 | Ho ho ho, took advantage of the late movement and topped up another 15,000 just under 70p. Don't think I'll get another proper chance to buy them at these low levels. (I should thank whoever it was who lodged a quote of 6900 shares at 70p in the orderbook so late in the day. My trade hasn't appeared yet, interesting.) | factsonly
16/1/2006 15:48 | intrigued to hear from you two what you see as the topside of your uptrend / double bottom? (I am expecting 80p+ within the next 3-4 of weeks). | factsonly
16/1/2006 15:41 | Why is Fidelity reducing I wonder? Wish I understodd P&F..all a mystery to me. What I see is a nice double bottom, also very bullish. S | smarm
16/1/2006 15:05 | For any of you who follow P&F charts, this also made a triple top breakout yesterday ( a very bullish signal), seems the stock is quite tightly held as struggling to buy in any size today | fundamentalist1
16/1/2006 14:55 | hmm, this could be day two of new highs, one more day and it's an official breakout (upwards, nice). | factsonly
16/1/2006 12:45 | Facts - :-) S | smarm
16/1/2006 11:57 | I'm now trying to pick up 35,000 and squaregain won't let me. It seems they don't work off the orderbook but only from MM quotes (which is a max of 10,000 at the moment, a sign that they expect big movements) | factsonly
16/1/2006 11:52 | Now look what you've gone and done, they've dropped the price! LOL S | smarm
16/1/2006 11:41 | I just tried, they wouldn't let me buy any volume more than 10,000. I wanted a minimum of 25,000. | factsonly
16/1/2006 11:38 | Factsonly - come on mate, get a move on then. LOL | smarm
16/1/2006 11:37 | nudged through the resistance level, it's getting exciting now. Just a couple more small buys and we could rocket up (to remove the 20,000 @ 71p, heck I might buy them myself in a minute). | factsonly
13/1/2006 17:32 | It's closed at an all time high, a very good sign. Might top up further on Monday, the double bottom formation can't be ignored, could push it to 80p+. | factsonly
13/1/2006 12:43 | Think that big buyer of late is still around. Shouldn´t be too long to wait before we see more millions going through the books. | rochdae
13/1/2006 12:28 | Not sure takeover is at the forefront of their minds, expansion is though! Trout. | troutisout
13/1/2006 12:26 | just 50,000 more shares to clear at 70.5p and we should break out upwards. | factsonly
13/1/2006 11:59 | looking good for a breakout above 70p today. | factsonly
12/1/2006 14:48 | or it could simply be that HWY is so darn cheap! (or someone naughty has had an early glimpse at the next set of figures) Just checked the Executive PRP of Highway. From my interpretation, it seems very open to takeover bids allowing executives to reap earlier and potentially larger bonuses. Woohooo! That's fine with me too, it'll be even better if there was a bid that was above my short term target price of 80p | factsonly
12/1/2006 14:46 | Interesting isn't it. I too have been buying in the new year. Roughly 10% of the total number of shares have been traded over the last 6 trading days. The only announcements have been decreases in holdings from Fidelity and UBS. Someone is building a stake, could be those take over rumours again. | wallywoo
12/1/2006 14:35 | Wow another large order went through! Who's buying all that stock and why!? First 1.8M, then 3.8M and then 1.81M. I'm getting excited now. | factsonly
12/1/2006 14:25 | LOL, no sooner said than done, 70p ask price now and even the bid has risen to 69.25p I'm wondering how soon before the 60,000 (resistance) on offer @70p will take to be bought out too. edit: 2 massive orders just went through at 69.5p. I guess these are delayed trades so must have been put through earlier today, hence the MMs are all now quoting asking prices at 71p and over. | factsonly
12/1/2006 13:59 | I've topped up 4 times over the past two days, holding a nice stake now and eagerly awaiting the announcements in Feb. Should see the ask price closing at 70p+ tonight (currently L2 says that only 12488 shares at asking price of 69.5p). IMHO, the consistent buying should break the 70p resistance level and provide the double bottom jump. | factsonly
11/1/2006 16:44 | Siskinbird Thanks | michaelpaul
11/1/2006 15:42 | ursus - I concur with your interpretation. The strong markets will mean HWY's assets/investments will have risen in line too. I will top up further in 1 minutes time. | factsonly
11/1/2006 12:12 | strong equity and bond markets mean a better chance that this share will outperform even current predictions for it, because it has a huge investment cashpile by comparison with its capitalisation, and it has managed its investments pretty aggressively in the last year or so. add also that the motor market seems to be holding up at least - (see admiral today for instance) and i wdn't be surprised to see it move above the current trading range - ie 60/70. | ursus |
