RJCDC, I agree with you to an extent. I don't mind it being sold, just not for peanuts, and 320p is peanuts! Again, if they did that for at least 400p it would not be seen that badly. So, that's why my vote went NO.

Space.. Personally I hope it doesn't get sold, I was starting to enjoy the journey.... But, I have sold out and am ready to get back in if the deal falls through...if there is a reasonable opportunity to do so.

It is, however, still nigeria dominated and the risks there have grown in the last few months. Ironically, the one I'm most excited by now is gulf keystone...

Fangorn, Indeed I thought ulterior motives you had. But if you had not, yet it did seem so, I take back my comment on the grounds you are innocent. But I am feeling everyone who used to populate this board have left me and 2hoggi alone to turn off the lights. Boy, I feel I am one of those big-moustachioed barman in this old western towns, cleaning the glasses behind the counter in this two-man town with hoggi2 as my only client. And to complicate the situation a gang of outlaws are coming on the 23:06, the only train that stops around this corner once a month. And they want to kick our backsides all the way to Yuma! Hoggi2, we are gonna have our own OK Coral!

The relevance of that comment? You'll notice that unlike many who sell,and subsequently remain posting negatively on the board, I've actually hardly said a word since selling.

So you can hardly accuse me of having an ulterior motive post event, or insinuate such.

Hope I'm wrong (HOIL was a super little investment), but with Buckers pledging his sizeable stake looks foregone conclusion to me.

2hoggi, how did they get your number? If so they will not be able to call me as I have never given anyone at heritage my cell number. Barclays certainly would not give it them. I bet you they will buy my shares at 330p. ..it's on the open for anyone who wants my votes! That will definitely not at their 320p or lower. I prefer not to sell it at all and expect a better offer. As soon as the 23rd goes I will definitely up the price to 400p. I know you may find me silly but that's my price.They will vote against this 2hoggi. ..I hope you contacted your stockbrokers t place your vote in. Don't waste time with hoil guys. ..They want you not to vote. Make sure you send your proxy vote with your stockbroker! Let's make these guys run for their money and not with ours!ST

spacetomato just had call from heritage to tell me about sell out he said,I asked him what you are really wanting to know is how I am going to vote,he said its his job to inform investors as many did not know about the sale.

I told him I was very unhappy about being sold down the river by tony and against sale.I asked him what reception he has recieved from investors and his reply was that many were very unhappy about sale.

Very interesting that they are going to all this trouble before the vote,are they worried it will be defeated?

RJCDC, I guess it's a risk we take. However, the Qatar fund wants Hoil and our in house mercenary clearly wants to sell it all and suck the Arab udder after that for at least 5 years. They have it all worked out.Now, if by a enlightened miracle the big shareholders deny the mafia it's winnings we might be in for interesting times. No, I don't see a massive drop actually. I see a clear message that we, the majority feel cheated and hoil is worth more than 320p. And they can go back to where they come from and bring back their pigsafe to the table. That's it.

The thing is space is that if it gets rejected there may well be a big dip in the SP, in which case if there is, I shall be buying all mine back.... And more.

This is not going to pass. Everyone knows it's a rip off at 320p. Why sell? The Big guns know that. I think the Qatar fund knows it and it they are smart they will have a counter offer.
