30/4/2014 08:48 | I would wait till end of the week before selling. IMHO Nigerian asset is worth much more than what Bidco is paying. That is the asset they are after. Another bidder will appear and offer a better price. There is nothing to loose by waiting for a few days when one has waited for a long time for the share price to move north. | hjs
30/4/2014 08:46 | Look back at Dragon Oil and learn the lesson. | spacetomato
30/4/2014 08:42 | I am keeping my shares ..The 10 thousand of them, which is not a lot for some, to say NO to the offer. I want more. | spacetomato
30/4/2014 08:40 | Brown boxes more like it. 14% of his shares now and keep 20% in so he benefits from at least a double whammy in a few years. Traitor he is. | spacetomato
30/4/2014 08:37 | That's exactly what they expect you all to do..sell. Quick quick quick...sell it. I remember Dragon Oil many years ago..The shareholders rebelled and told the directors to stick it where it doesn't shine. | spacetomato
30/4/2014 08:34 | Any share similar to hoil to put the money in? | p@
30/4/2014 08:34 | Agree tonys stitched us all up. why would you exclude any other offer. i sense brown envelopes stuffed with cash and maybe a job as well!! Alright for some!!! | stpalm
30/4/2014 08:34 | Annoyed to say the least. Was hopping for at least £4. Great potential and all... TB is only looking after his own interest at the end. As a director he sold us cheap whilst still keeping his 20% interest protected for the next 5 years as he knows where this is going. We were sold out cheap. Feel like just getting my money here and leave..but that would deprive me of the chance to say STUFF it with my vote.St | spacetomato
30/4/2014 08:30 | I sold out too - if there is any retraction, and the share price drops, I will be back in but this seems unlikely. | joestalin
30/4/2014 08:14 | Sold all mine now. Deal won't complete until 3rd quarter so I'll take the cash now for a few pence less. | v11slr
30/4/2014 08:14 | And I averaged to 167 too... So what now, should we sell up and move on? It's like when you get to the end of a book and it didn't really end properly. | rjcdc
30/4/2014 08:11 | well done Fangorn. I averaged to 152p but, sadly I only have a small holding. Well done HOIL and holders. | hectorp
30/4/2014 07:58 | I'm already out mate. I sold last month at 265, was hoping to get back in on the dip. (: Bought more Cey, some Chesnara and more GKP at the time. First two did me well - latter not so. Cant win them all :) It's far too cheap at 320p but there ya go...35.5% in the bag already for Al Mirqab. | fangorn2
30/4/2014 07:57 | @fangorn....re shut in...exactly. My paranoia levels were working properly after all. | muscletrade
30/4/2014 07:53 | Yes fang, and seemingly no compensation either. You happy with 320? | rjcdc
30/4/2014 07:51 | Is this the usual stitch up, given that HOIL investors are also buccaneers, and looking for blue sky, not a relatively small premium for a company with huge potential ? | corrientes
30/4/2014 07:51 | Bottomline - £3.20 cash bid backed by the majority shareholder and others will succeed in this market. | nigelpm
30/4/2014 07:48 | Wasn't aware we had an enforced shut in for the first quarter at OML30 - must've missed that RNS. | fangorn2
30/4/2014 07:46 | There are still 60% shares that could oppose the offer.... When do we vote? I'm after £5. | rjcdc
30/4/2014 07:44 | As to competing offers, unlikely. "In addition to the agreements set out in the Buckingham Agreements, Anthony Buckingham has irrevocably committed to Al Mirqab that he will support the Offer and not accept any competing offer made prior to 17.00 (London time) on 29 September 2014." | fangorn2
30/4/2014 07:43 | Wonder why TB is selling his 34%? Had enough? New venture? Retiring? | fangorn2
30/4/2014 07:42 | Have we switched our listing to North Korea? LOL. It's certainly not impossible but quite improbable I'd say. | nigelpm
30/4/2014 07:41 | Didn't see that coming , done deal bye bye hoil . | holts |
