27/4/2017 12:15 | Took a few here at slightly sub-13p today. HVE used to be a popular share for IC coverage and seeing as they appear to be in mild recovery mode I'm guessing one or other of the end-of-week shares mags just might pick up on them, hopefully with a positive view. A long trek for HVE as I'm reminded we've now been in this low priced trough for seven years and as yet I haven't spotted any recent broker tp's, or suchlike. f | fillipe
27/4/2017 11:26 | Mentioned on the BBC and scotsman yesterday: hxxp://www.bbc.co.uk hxxp://www.scotsman. | jbarker5555
27/4/2017 09:39 | Heard they were moving all staff in to the Factory Building. Any truth in this? | cookpeter1958
27/4/2017 07:12 | Sty shows the market is there. There will be some winners and some losers. Let's hope Hve will be on the winners side | neverforget
26/4/2017 19:40 | Interesting day by all accounts. lots of retail work coming in and I didn't know but apparently a building society is now a customer. also I don't believe the cost cutting is finished. New broker forecasts for 2017 from whireland coming out | neverforget
25/4/2017 16:18 | Only 15k shares currently available online ahead of the investor meetings. Bid firming too. | gleach23
25/4/2017 14:56 | value king, The £300k loan is at 6% which is a very good return these days on any unsecured business loan when you are the chairman of the company imo. The pension issue will have an effect on the next full set of figures and is a big issue, as are falling sales, due to the effects on cash flow. If they raise more cash will they be able to do so at 8/10p and how much dilution will that cause? | clocktower
25/4/2017 13:52 | Thanks neverforget no harm done. I wish it all works out for shareholders. It would be nice to see it improve all round and also for the staff who work there. | reallyrich
25/4/2017 13:49 | reaalyrich. I apologise. debt is up. these results were never really about 2016 for me. they are more about 2017. nothing inn there puts me off. pension deficit nothing can be done about so not really worth management attention. government yields are government yields. more interesting is the fact that the chairman is willing to put in 300g unsecured loan. also notice the reference to placing or rights issue. maybe that is why there is as said here before management presentations to insti investors in the next few days. is it finally a recovery from here? the next 6 months will tell. | neverforget
25/4/2017 11:59 | I am not here to deramp. It's just the figures do not look great, debt well up and pension issues. On top of that the outlook does not seem to be that rosy. They are things to can see and read for yourself. | reallyrich
25/4/2017 11:44 | There's some negative talk here but it's strange that the new Chairman should want to buy £300k worth of share in Dec, which caught my eye last week. He has also provided a £300k unsecured loan. Pretty decent risk from a new Chairman. Prescott has gone and they have a new CFO so there are some clear changes and optimism at last. | value king
25/4/2017 11:38 | Could anyone clarify if the 1.5M increase in intangibles is to do with the ERP system? :) | jbarker5555
25/4/2017 10:47 | fillipe...i just get irritated with claims by those who say they sold at recent highs after a share price falls...why feel the need to mention it today and not on 19th? anyway my problem not yours ;) plenty of stock available online at the higher price now and nice to see the 25k buy @ 13.4...perhaps you'll tell us it was yours next week if the Bid is 18p? | gleach23
25/4/2017 09:36 | Why, did you need your hand holding? Try a different broker. There are 4 mm's at the bid/ask, each showing 10k with the best at 12.5p v 13.5p, but less for the actual deal. Buy availability appears good to me, 20k there for 13.4p a couple of minutes ago but selling could be less free. f | fillipe
25/4/2017 09:26 | I thought the results were rather good today. At last they have made an adjusted profit. Toyed with buying these ahead of the results but they had had a good rally. Got a few small few today and looking to add as the market wakes up to the recovery starting here, as I see it anyway. | value king
25/4/2017 09:13 | Forget to mention it on 19th fillipe? lol Only 5k available to buy online currently and Bid firming so perhaps there are some buy orders about at this 12-12.75 level ? | gleach23
25/4/2017 08:56 | Still a way to go here, but I'll be looking to re-enter here at some further lower point, after recently exiting on the 19th. f | fillipe
25/4/2017 08:53 | I think only an exceptional statement would have pushed this on further today, given the 50% rise in the last couple of months. Underlying revenue increase of 21% combined with a 'substantial increase in margins' is very impressive and seems to underline how effective the new management team has been, which can only bode well. Project delays to public sector work resulting in 2017 being heavily back end weighted takes some of the shine off and it'll be interesting to see what effect this has on the share price momentum that was gaining traction. GG was buying earlier this month @ 13.5p so he has a chance to get some cheaper now. | gleach23
25/4/2017 08:49 | Not a pretty picture at all. The pension situation alone would have altered the face appearance of the accounts, let alone the fact the outlook based on the fact that current orders are lower than the previous comparison. If this is the best spin they can put out then good luck to those that continue to hold. Back to the lows before long imo. | clocktower
25/4/2017 08:19 | Seems a bit of a churlish reaction to confirmation of profitability. Outlook statement not strong, but not negative. | 18bt
25/4/2017 06:33 | The day before the redundancy announcement Ritchie told site staff everything was good and Havelock would be recruiting more staff. Honesty and Trust at Havelock ???? | truthful tommy2
22/4/2017 12:49 | good for too long Havelock have been bloated and lazy. about time they took the decision to get rid of fat. prefer a lean company making money than a company keeping people employed but losing money. | neverforget
21/4/2017 09:39 | April 7? Same day AB bought another 76,000 shares? | timnet |
