I was hoping it might generate another brief buying opportunity..........

I would have thought that today's RNS might have provoked some comment here. Surely this is a very significant appointment? Am getting increasingly optimistic that my investment here is finally going to produce the returns that I anticipated some 8 or 9 years ago!

Nice to see the buys continue, albeit modest today.

Online Bid has firmed to 12.5p for up to 25k shares (from 11.8p yesterday).

Still only 12k available after the tick up on the Offer.

I'd expect a decent size late trade sometime later to explain the rise today.

What I can guarantee is that the attitude has changed. Maybe because you are no longer there you do not see it. I have seen it through the very busy times through the dark days and now I see people who actually are beginning to understand that this doesn't have to be a slow gradual decline to nothing. WRT HB, the argument could be made that this company would have come out post 2009 better and quicker with HB rather than throwing somebody who honestly did not have a clue about the business in EP. All you had there was words.
The only thing I guage is people and IG is making a change. Maybe because he understands the market and knows where he wants to take the company. Whether he gets there is dependant on whether the management team is strong enough. From what I have seen the answer is yes.

In response to Horridharrys post of 23/3, would someone out there please be kind enough to pass me some of the elixir he has been taking! For those who have fading memories and/or those with a depleted share value, Mr Balfour took the business to the brink before being replaced by an Interim. Mr Godden left years before that - although has now returned as Chairman. The "Right Sizing" approach was widely embraced and long overdue, however, the bitter irony is a result of the "Wrong Size". The business is still over burdened with cost. A simple comparison to Havelocks genuine competitors financials illustrate that.....Someone needs to break into the Self Preservation Society of High Salaries and do something about it. In terms of the business finding its mojo Horridharry, I doubt you can either comment on it with any credibility nevermind guarantee it - remember you are a supplier who is in twice a month so to mislead anyone would be reckless. In terms of Noble Grossart brokering a truce with AB, who really cares about that? If the Board were doing their job, no-one would have to broker anything. What the business needs is a competent Board.

Last time we had a big move like this was on 28th Feb, the day of the trading update. On that occasion we lost virtually all the gain by the close of play, but this time it feels more like we will hold most, if not all, of it!

Supplier. I am in there at least twice a month and I have seen a stepped difference. For years with Eric you could get away with bull. There is no hiding now. The whole mood has changed.

Very reassuring horrid harry. If you do not mind me asking, are you writing as an employee, an ex employee, a supplier, a customer or simply as a shareholder ?

Just to let you all know that this isn't at all the same company as a few months ago. The entire mood has changed and I can personally guarantee you that the current executives are being pushed hard in fact very hard by the non executives in particular Mr Balfour and Mr Godden. This is a company that after 6 years of stagnation is once again starting to find its mojo. Amazing what a could of experienced and determined people can do. Full credit to the people who have stayed with this but also to Noble Grossart who were the ones that brokered a truce between ab and the non execs and also to the 2 new non execs who have taken the mantle. Lets hope that dawn has now broken and that this company will finally reassert itself as a leader in this field.

Chart looking very nice now. Unless a late trade is still to come through, we've just moved up 5% on a 25k purchase.

Only 2k shares available to buy online.

Looking promising. Holding my shares firmly awaiting news of a turnaround. At such a small market capitalisation the potential rewards look very good.
