25/7/2017 21:52 | Bitter and twisted Tommy, you need to GET A LIFE! As a shareholder I've read your drivel over the last number of months until I can no longer, without responding. Your information about Havelock projects is at least ten years old and inaccurate, your information about employees is totally nasty vicious and inaccurate and can hardly be viewed as unbiased or constructive as you clearly have a major axe to grind here for some reason. Why don't you buy some shares and you will be kept up to date around current efforts, you can even attend the AGM like other shareholders and get real truthful information. You need to keep you're venom to yourself and move on, you might even want to seek help for your trolling, your stream of inaccurate information and opinions is no longer required or welcome on this site which is for real shareholders. | tonto12
25/7/2017 17:31 | Truthful Tommy you are just poison you are so off the mark on both GJ and ERP you are clearly a bitter twisted individual | gill25
25/7/2017 17:28 | TT2,what a disappointment you are, GJ moving on for personal development reasons and has been a massive success in the creation of the newly formed Retail team which is performing extremely well.. also, ERP is fully operational and the company are seeing the real benefits from this..not sure what competitor you are now working for at present, but would suggest you spend more time concentrating on what you get paid to do ( unless you are on the social which is highly possible with all your previous threads ) than trying to stir up nonsense on this website... as a side note, you are definitely a disgruntled ex employee with a blunt axe to bear.. go away...! | the incredibles
25/7/2017 13:23 | Gillian Jenkins and about time not sure if she walked or was pushed. Total waste of space in the 10 years employment she lost every major client.Havelocks problem run a lot deeper than one person. The ERP system is not running correctly, the wage structure is ridiculous to many over paid departmental directors and a bonus system that only gets paid to the very few. Also to many square pegs in round holes. | truthful tommy2
25/7/2017 09:28 | New job listed any ideas about departure? | neverforget
24/7/2017 18:35 | Everyone asleep? Much like the hve bod's | neverforget
20/7/2017 05:47 | Back under the 10p this really is a basket case. Shoot the dog and put it out of its misery. We are kinder to our pets than this pos. Time for a management change. Ritchie has had 2 years to oversea er...... no improvement. | neverforget
14/7/2017 07:41 | Google Finance showing them at 0p this morning. Looks like a Google problem, though. I thought they'd stopped trading for a minute. It wouldn't surprise me. Seems grim up north in Kirkcaldy. | capricious71
13/7/2017 16:32 | Unfortunately the truth really hurts especially when its aimed at employees who have been getting overpaid and with excessive bonuses and delivering nothing time to look into the mirror goodoldays. | truthful tommy2

Are you a current employee winging, whining, & bemoaning the fate of Havelock, it's the same old same from you!!! Are you a shareholder? Probably not, just a low ranking current employee with a personal axe to grind, no constructive dialogue. This site is a chat forum for shareholders. Why don't you just exit this, go to the pub and do what you probably do best!!! | goodoldays
13/7/2017 11:21 | When to waste 10 years on a Project Director that in reality lost every major client Havelock had including the biggest financial loss at the Aviva stadium. When you employ a buyer to run the estimating department. When you employ some one whos original job was to find sub-contractors and in reality you just need to go to yellow pages , and then put them in charge of HealtH & Safety. When the core of your work force is either leaving or actively look for alternative employment. When the moral of the work force has never been as low. You will find you have a problem. | truthful tommy2
13/7/2017 10:36 | What strategy? Follow the wealth. That seems to be bloody obvious! How about looking at different markets? Oh they did that with healthcare and accommodation! That worked well, 4 years and what % of turnover is it?
No 2 years forvthe current CEO and all he has done is shrink everything down because they don't know how to grow. Vicious circle. | neverforget
13/7/2017 10:31 | 4 million market cap. What a great shame for such a historically fine company. Seems to be dead in the water to me. Which would be sad for employees. You would have thought that with the euro so strong competing in euroland would be easier but evidently not for this company. | neverforget
13/7/2017 10:29 | Well the AGM Statement wasn't good and some might consider it sets up the potential for an expectations miss in the Sept interims - ie poor H1, expecting to make it up in H2...
That said, all previous indicators were that this new management team were turning things around. Since the CEO has now been in place a couple of years one would imagine this is the time to be delivering.
Then there's the much anticipated strategic update - perhaps this will be communicated at the time of the interims? | gleach23
13/7/2017 10:26 | Call it a rumour but my thoughts are that there is a heavily discounted rights issue coming. That or its just summer time dullness. | neverforget
13/7/2017 08:06 | Anyone have a clue as to what's (not) going on? | timnet
11/7/2017 20:01 | Been to PEC - impressive.
Going away on holiday.
Got news for when I get back in August. | horridharry
03/7/2017 06:53 | ????? Explain pls ????? | neverforget
02/7/2017 16:42 | If they can take advantage of it, to be fair they haven't taken advantage in the past. | horridharry
30/6/2017 11:00 | Interesting post, horridharry. Presumably this could be beneficial for Havelock? | mesquida
30/6/2017 09:57 | Still having problems with erp, but, getting better. What is happening at British Thornton? It seems to be in a royal mess at the moment. Declined to do work for them because of the changes and the risks associated. Seems to have been a royal mess since Lilyvalley and the director resignations. Credit insurance on them has plummeted. | horridharry
28/6/2017 09:36 | Yes, we have that to 'look forward to'! A reminder of what was said in the narrative with the Finals in April -
Future strategy
The newly refreshed Board is conducting a major review of its longer term vision, mission and strategy. This strategy will be shared with the shareholder base later in 2017, showing leaner processes, with the objective of achieving a stronger operating cash flow and profit growth. Havelock is seeking to re-establish market leadership and a much higher level of design innovation in each of its three UK market sectors. The Board and executive team are also exploring this year how they can create a growth strategy by "following the wealth" in the UK and in selected international markets where Havelock has profitable entry or expansion opportunities. The addition of two very experienced business-oriented non-executive directors, a new CFO and the upgrading of the senior market-facing executive team are crucial first steps in that direction. Despite the political uncertainties in the UK and the prospect of accelerated inflation and interest rates, the Board is confident of finding a path to growth in profits. | gleach23
28/6/2017 09:17 | Drifting slowly down. What does the market know that we don't. I am a bit disappointed that we haven't seen or heard anything from this strategy review. Seems like this company is still sleepwalking into oblivion. | neverforget
26/6/2017 15:34 | That 75k reported as a sell @ 11.25p this afternoon was a buy imo. One of our larger holders adding?
Although there seems to be an excess of supply over demand using online quotes, on the basis that I don't think we'll head back to 9p due to improved performance over the last year, I decided to follow the 75k with a 20k purchase @ 11.25p, also reported as a sell.
