21/2/2022 18:18 | Well on last Wednesday's private investors' meeting in Belfast Arun Raman GCFO assured us that the group was approaching cash breakeven, that the Belfast Ship Repair business was profitable, and that no further placing was planned. He said that there were orders that they hoped to announce imminently together with a loan facility. Whilst a future placing could not be discounted it would only be to capitalise new orders. Staff numbers have apparently grown to 450 with some 300 directly employed. There is still some debate as to what to do with Islandmagee and what it might be worth. A Northern Ireland ferry was in the Repair Dock with another queuing to get in. A LNG tanker was waiting to get into the building dock. Cash tight I guess, but the number of trades today sre hard to explain. | c2b

05/2/2022 09:42 | Not opposed to getting shot of it, but it might be needed for a while yet. If not by Harl, someone might be interested. Courtesy of Spud. | si derman
03/2/2022 19:36 | Flog off the gas storage subsidiary. | htrocka2
31/1/2022 16:56 | Also worth noting, that cash flow for the 12 months to end July 2020 was negative £19.5mln. | ijamlon
31/1/2022 16:44 | Makes sense, the only game left for them now is to flog the ML, then pretend everything is going well so as to buy time to pay a big slug of the proceeds to themselves. Eventually they'll take a generous redundancy package and sail into the sunset far away from their bankrupt shipyards and ransacked shareholders. They'll probably describe the whole episode as "a successful restructuring" on their CVs. | ijamlon
26/1/2022 23:37 | My guess is they've got through about 2-3mln of the cash raised at the last issue. Another 3 months without something significant coming in and I would say the Titanic connection will start to look all too apt. | ijamlon

02/1/2022 13:41 | Sloth - perhaps, but surely unwise prior to the much-delayed granting of the marine license | milesy
02/1/2022 09:08 | I would have thought that Centrica would have had plenty of time to have taken a stake in the previous incarnations ( Portland Gas, Infastrata ). | thesloth2
30/12/2021 15:25 | Bought a few over this week mainly based on renewed and urgent interest in gas storage. It's one of the key elements highlighted to gov by the industry. Surely Centrica will take a stake in it at the least. | waterloo01
