23/11/2021 14:04 | That's quite a gap to fill! | bountyhunter
23/11/2021 13:54 | Its certainly left a bad taste! | skinny
23/11/2021 13:52 | Glad I didn't put in for any - good commentary here last night. In any case I could now add them in my ISA at virtually the same price if I wanted to rather than be forced to hold in a trading account. Good luck to those that do hold it's obviously not been a pleasant experience of late. | bountyhunter
23/11/2021 13:50 | Agree, primary bid is a curse for existing holders on any stock. I'm not a holder, but that discount amount should not be allowed. | chc15
23/11/2021 13:45 | Wish u guys the best but can buy in xs of 100k now at 20.12 - That overhang needs to clear - | tomboyb
23/11/2021 13:41 | Good time to buy @20.2p | oliversanvil
23/11/2021 13:33 | Looking to buy but Bid now at 20.2p - It may well fall below 20p - | tomboyb
23/11/2021 13:24 | These shares are 20.5 bid in a few thousand in the market, maybe a price prop-up bid from the broker to support the share offer. My advice if you have shares is to hit that bid all day long. | ijamlon
23/11/2021 08:50 | Terminator101 : after the last placement at 30p in the weeks after the share price went to 16p.Can't see 20p holding over the next few days | tomtum1
23/11/2021 07:54 | Almost any other company would simply be going into administration in this situation. Somehow, incredibly, there are judged to still be enough people prepared to throw another £5mln on this bonfire, so the management shamelessly and immorally keeping milking it, largely for their own benefit. Many of the investors are ship enthusiast and perhaps not traditional finance savvy types, this is being exploited. I implore anyone thinking of taking up the offer to think again unless it's for charitable reasons. This is just a black hole. | ijamlon
22/11/2021 22:54 | Not a good omen, that is unusual. | bountyhunter
22/11/2021 22:53 | The last placement price was 30p. It fell to 16p in the weeks after the placement. | tomtum1
22/11/2021 22:52 | Prices don't always fall to the offer price, a fall is inevitable but whether it goes right down to 20.*p is yet to be seen. I am tending towards not subscribing based largely on the proposed use of the offer proceeds, not much seeming to be destined for new investment, maybe more of a rescue package? | bountyhunter
22/11/2021 22:15 | The primary bid offer to all private investors guarantees that the share price will fall tomorrow to 20p. Why would anyone buy open market for more when you can apply for the PB offer. | terminator101
22/11/2021 21:58 | its going to fall to somewhere around 20p Bounty - if its over that then people will sell and buy back at 20p. How quickly it recovers will depend on how well it all goes. | wish i wasnt in rbs
22/11/2021 20:00 | 20p seems cheap but I see that this is the third placing this year and the ongoing costs seem rather high with a large workforce to pay. A large-scale expansion is forecast but not yet confirmed leaving me undecided as to whether this is an opportunity or not. The breakdown mentioned above in the use of the proceeds doesn't add confidence imho. Personally I think I'll wait and see by how much the price drops back in the morning before deciding whether the PB offer is worth an investment or not! | bountyhunter
22/11/2021 19:17 | Anyone who accepts this offer must care more about keeping the management rich and the shipbuilding dream alive than they do about not losing money. | ijamlon
22/11/2021 19:05 | The recent price action would suggest it didn't leak, or at least not lot. It's up to the company to fight their corner in terms of pricing. I might buy a few into the SIPP closer to 20p, which is around my average. I was hoping they would have taken the award of the marine licence and sold on a stake to one of the majors to fund the shipbuilding, but I guess longer term more value might be assigned to that once it gets closer to being operational. | waterloo01
22/11/2021 18:58 | Should change the rules/laws to make companies warn when they are working a placing so much lower than the shareprice. It used to be called price sensitive information but now it's like normal or acceptable for the city to rip off small pi's | dave4545
22/11/2021 18:49 | The discount is a shame/shocker given the narrative that follows, including a value of the gas storage attributed to the company of £30m-£50m and getting to cash flow positive in 2021. | waterloo01 |
